"I have now placed two orders with Nikonians. In both cases, I had the equipment delivered just two days after ordering. I found Joe and Jürgen very responsive and helpful with my questions, and I have no hesitation in ordering from Nikonians again in the future. Excellent service. Ten out of Ten.

"My purchasing experience was excellent. My order was for several items. The primary items were shipped quickly and arrived earlier than anticipated. The shipping charges were quite reasonable for the speed of the delivery. Two small items were back ordered but were shipped in a few days. No additional shipping charges were incurred. All items arrived, well packed and in excellent condition. This was one of my better online shopping experiences."

"1) Nikonians PhotoProShop offered continuous follow up(email and posts on website) during the whole process: order, preparation, shipment and delivery.
2) Nikonians PhotoProShop answered very quickly all enquiries and offered each time correct and nice answers.
3) Very fast delivery 2 days done by FedEx!
4) But FedEx is expensive as within Europe the delivery could have been done by European traditional post (on a fast delivery fee)

Overall Nikonians PhotoProShop was very pro in doing business with its clients/members :-)

"I ordered a ballhead, an L-bracket, and much other goodies from this shop. The L-bracket was not in stock when I placed the order. However, the friendly staff kept me continuously updated on the status of my order by email.

Due to the sizable amout of money I put into this order I kindly asked for a small gift from their shop. This was granted with pleasure from Photoproshop, and there even were some sweets in the package which I gave to my three year old daughter :-)

The only thing I am not completely content with is the time it took for the shipment to arrive. One and a half week from Germany to Denmark does not justify a price of nearly 30 euros.

All in all I am very satiesfied with Photoproshop, and can warmly recommend it to others interested in quality ballheads, tripods, etc.

"This is without a doubt the WORST online retailer I've dealt with and I shop online frequently so I know what to expect from a reliable retailer. I placed the order on 12/06/06 (my credit card was charged over $400.00 the same day)...after receiving NO shipping confirmation a week later I emailed them on 12/14 to inquire as to when my order would be shipped and later that day received an email stating "I’m sorry, but the item you have ordered is sold out and on back order.It will ship as soon as it comes in.

The following day (12/15/06) I receive the following email: An order from Markins came in late today. The M10L is included with this shipment. Your ballhead should ship tomorrow, Monday at the latest.

Well I was very happy to hear this since this was a Christmas present. Long story short I did NOT receive the order in time for Christmas so I emailed on 12/26 to find out the shipping status on my order....no response....emailed again on 12/27/06 requesting they CANCEL the order and credit my credit card....NO RESPONSE. BAD experience and would warn everyone to purchase elsewhere unless you don't mind paying up front for items you may not receive for weeks. They state on their website they are fast & friendly, shipping daily....what a misleading statement. Every other online retailer I've dealt with states when an item is out-of-stock so you can make the choice BEFORE ordering if you want to wait for it and I have NEVER been charged for items UNTIL they are shipped. Nikonians did NOT state the items I ordered were out-of-stock and I don't know if I would have ever heard from them if I hadn't emailed them a week after placing the order to see if the items had shipped. Pretty shoddy way to do business...charge customers for items you don't have in stock & never inform the customer they are on backorder....lie about when items will be shipped and then ignore emails.

"The most horrible of all my experiences in dealing with an online seller. Placed an order and never got a response form them. The order was placed, charged to my card but never did I receive a shipping notice. Instead after I complained in a forum, I received a response from a forum administrator who provided me the same contact detail I already had. I canceled my order and never got a response from the store only from that same administrator who said that my order was canceled per my request and that I would be notified when the refund was processed. I took all my correspondence and a copy of the forum thread to my bank who will investigate.
Throughout this process I never heard from the store at all.
Buyer beware!
Stay away.
