"Their customer service is aweful. I have placed an order for icon motorcycle vest on-line. It says $6 for the shipping charge, and I have a receipt indicating the same, but I get an email next day from them, it says "we'll have to charge you $15 since you live in hawaii" and the order was already processed. If anything on order is to be changed, I should be asked if I still want it. I told them I did not agreed on $15 charge, and want the order to be cancelled. They ended up reimbursing me the difference, but the customer service really sucked. I did not receive their reply e-mails ( it went to spam folder)and when I left a message requesting a follow up, I received an angry call, and an email saying "for the third reply," indicating no fault of any kind on their part for our breakdown in communication. In addition, on their "third reply" it indicated that I have placed 2 order, and I'll be charged extra if one of the order is being cancelled. First order was placed with wrong cvc code, and it says "order cannot be processed, please contact customer service" on receipt. So I assumed they'll void the order if I don't do anything, and I have went ahead and placed a new order with correct cvc code. For them to even use the correct cvc code to process my first order, they are so shady! If there is any problem with an order, you should ask first if I still want it instead of go ahead with your way!!! At the end, they end up fixing the problem, and sent me only one jacket and reimbursed me the difference in shipping cost. So I only paid what I originally agreed on when I made a purchase."

"Ordered about a month back(international shipping) and have still not received the package. No follow-ups and updates. No option of express delivery. Shipped via sloooooow priority mail. Willl never shop again."

"Not very pleased. Placed an order for overpants. Received an email stating they were updating their website and these pants were out of stock, switch and bait to a more expensive pair. Quote " You managed to submit your order just before our website was updated."

Well, I checked their website again tonight and they still have the same page up. Waste of my time. I replied to their offer for the bait and switch requesting an extra 15% off for the inconvenience. No go. I'll shop at the http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/ instead.

"I have ordered from New England Motorcycle Emporium before in the past. I have always had excellent service and good prices. You can trust this company and their service.

Last year I searched the web looking for the best price on Leatherlyke bags. Motoemporium was the cheapest and they gave me free shipping. You couldn't beat that.

This time I went searching for the best deal on a cartain brand of gloves. Once again they popped up with the lowest price. Since I was already familiar with them I ordered right away. No problems at all.

BTW they have since stopped selling Leatherlyke bags because the manufacturer has price fixed and wont allow businesses to sell below the retail price. Since they cannot give you a savings they wont sell that product. I think that says a good bit about them. You can expect a good deal when your ordering.

"I wanted a Nolan x-1002, size 2XL. I could not find a US-based store that had it. I happened to write an email to these guys and they told me that in fact they had a new supplier that could get the 2xl in around the 11th of this month. When I called the next day, they had actully found their supplier had 2 in stock, one of which I ordered and is on the way. Their prices are great and so far the service I've received has been excellent. I called back to add an additional dark shield and Jay recommended I hold off since the helmet already has a sun shield build it. I'm very impressed so far."
