"elwirecheap.com has been shut down and reopened under the website www.vibelights.com. Do not be fooled, this is basically the same site. I had ordered from elwirecheap.com and my order took forever and I never heard from the seller. I put a little faith into this new site and placed an order on November 30, 2008. It is now January 22, 2009 and I have not recieved my order and have sent numerous emails to the seller with no response. This website is very professional looking but it's a trap. Do not order from them!"
"I ordered some stuff from them 11/11/05 and the money was taken from my account the same day.
After that they have not answered any mail or phonecalls.
Not much to to do about it, i have mailed Yahoo shopping about it and recomend that other people that has been swindled do the same."

"Before placing my order, I emailed the company with a question about paying with PayPal. Justin Cole responded very quickly to this inital email, so I placed my order on a Sunday (April 17, 2005). I received a confirmation email with an order number.
I was told that I would receive a tracking number for the order, and after waiting three days, I emailed them about the delay. I sent a total of three emails, never generating a response.
However, despite the lack of communication, the order did arrive on Thursday (April 21, 2005). This was quick shipment via USPS Priority Mail (CA to MD), and the items work fine.
Basically, communication isn't great, but the products were cheap, shipped quickly, and work great! "

"This is the first time I have used this company. I purchased a simple product (purple El Wire). Shipping didn't take too long and was acceptable, however the product did not work at all. I contacted the company and there was no reply. I checked the power connection portion of the product with another vendors El wire and it worked. I again emailed the company, and then got a reply that it was probably the solder job and I was more than welcome to open it up and check it or get a replacement. I explained that this was for a customers machine and I wanted a replacement. I offered to pay for expedited shipping since it was holding up a machine. I was more than happy to send defective product back. I was never replied to again. I ended up having to order from another vendor. I got better response times from a stranger on Ebay!! I will never deal with this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. Product was defective and customer support was non exsistent. I have already wrote reviews at several modding sites."

"I am very pleased with this store. This is the first time i have ordered through them, and it will not be my last. The order was processed and shipped to me with efficiency and it arrived very well packed. The items are of very good quality, I ordered a dual blue 12" cold cathode computer kit: the inverter is epoxy sealed and small in size , and the tubes are relatively thin. The customer service I have recieved was handled in a professional and timely manner. My only gripe was with shipping status, I never recieved an e-mail with a tracking number. Not to worry though, I still recieved it in just over a week UPS Ground.
Overall I am very pleased with this company, they have GREAT Prices(I paid $12.49 for a Dual Blue 12" Cold Cathode Computer kit that came with an inverter and switch.) Shipping was reasonable, $7.99 for UPS Ground from California to GA. And the ease of the ordering system was very good. I will be recomending elwirecheap.com to all my friends with cold cathode, electroluminescent wire and tape needs in the futre
