"The price seemed fair and the carpet looked pretty good but it had an odd chemical smell to it. I then asked for test results from the manufacturer for off gassing like all carpet manufacturers have, they DO NOT have.
Found out it was made in India so who knows what is going on with this companies products..

"I ordered the Marina Seagrass Rug for a bedroom at our beach house. It was delivered on time and description online is accurate. Does have a scent of hay but we dont mind it at all. Very attractive rug. There are a couple of flubs in the weave where a loose end pokes out I am hoping they wont be a problem and unravel. It is a little bit rough on bare feet but that's expected for these type of rugs. Overall it's well made and I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this rug for the price.

"The rug that we purchased from Natural Area Rugs looked beautiful at first, but has worn very poorly. In just four months it is worn through in spots because the loops have come undone. Natural Area Rugs suggested I put it somewhere where it gets lets use. This suggestion felt unsatisfactory because it it a rug which is meant to be walked on. I was unable to return it because it was past 30 days. If I'd known that in four months is was going to fall apart I would have made sure to return it during that time. I do not recommend purchasing from Natural Area Rugs. "
"I had the same experience as Luke did from Sept 19th. I never review products but I felt the need to warn people. I purchased a shag rug and the product information stated this: "Artificial Silk and Rayon has an advantage of less shedding and last longer than any wool or cotton shag rugs" Yet I have never had a shag rug shed more than this rug here. I am constantly sweeping up little pieces of string and pulling string from my cats mouth. I have sting everywhere! On my bed and clothes, on my desk and string has even managed to migrate to other rooms of the house. I would ship it back but I can't possibly wrap up a 9x12 rug and have it shipped back, it's massive. I would of rather the product description of been honest.
Also, I reviewed the product on their website, simply saying that the rug was not as shed resistant as stated, I wanted to warn other buyers. I received an email from their customer service department offering me this straw rug or whatnot, something I really don't want. It made me curious about my review. I went back to check if my review was there and it wasn't!! They deleted my review of their rug!! That is shady. The good review was still there but mine was not.
I don't trust this company. Purchase from them at your own risk. "
"VERY DISSATISFIED. The quality of the rug was WAY below standard. The price wasn't that good. When I tried to return the company refused the return shipment claiming it wasn't packed properly despite the fact that it was pack carefully in Tyvek. They were NO help whatsoever when making a claim with the insurance company of the carrier I used to return the rug. A VERY unsatisfactory experience. Steer clear of these guys. Buy from Pottery Barn - much better quality and decent prices AND you can return with impunity "
