"I'm an older geek, having been dealing with computers since the mid 1970s and PCs and laptops since the late 1980s. I will simply say that my Mythlogic experience was the best I've ever had in dealing with system dealers. I proudly own a new Nyx 1711 laptop, and every part of the process was easy. Like another reviewer here, I had Mythlogic talk me out of spending more money on a component they felt wouldn't make much difference in the way I use my machine. That, to me, is an attention grabber. They obviously care more about their customer and long term relationships than milking out the last buck from a quick sale.
And the laptop? Quite simply the best I've owned. Almost ridiculously fast, and the upgraded screen is a joy to behold. Overall, a solid machine, more than capable of running my games and applications.
I had heard that Mythlogic was more expensive than some of their competition. First, they have no true competition; while there are Sager resellers out there, Mythlogic is really a custom builder, using Clevo shells. That means that they can offer more than a typical reseller. Better warranty, better repair service, and unique policies like the Phoenix Upgrade Plan, which is as close to “future proofing” as any computer system can get. When I compared prices of Mythlogic machines with Sager resellers, Mythlogic was not only not more expensive, but when you add the value of their unique policies and their focus on the customer, you get much more than you are with the other guys for the money.
Not only have I become a Mythlogic customer for life, but I’ve been raving about them to friends and family all over the country. Working with them, you will end up for the most bang for your buck, and a system that reflects what you do, not some mindless marketing package. Combine all of the above with friendly, knowledgeable staff who often return emails within minutes, and they blow all other vendors out of the water.

"I'm not big on leaving reviews, but I feel obligated in this case. A few years ago we were having some issues with our laptop and were contemplating getting another one (only computer in the house at the time). We were referred to Mythlogic via our neighborhood chat forum. I'm not very technical so I was a little intimidated about taking it to a stranger. After meeting the staff, especially Charlie, we were immediately set at ease. They were not only extremely knowledgeable about the system, but they provided one of the best examples of customer service we have ever experienced. Charlie and staff took the time to correctly analyze the problems we were experiencing and worked hard to resolve them. That day we ended up leaving a happy customer with a working laptop. "I previously brought computer from Sager reseller. The experience was good. But now that I decided to buy another laptop during the recall time. My experience with this reseller was only fair, we exchanged email for quite sometime but I cannot get enough information to make any decision. Then I've heard of Mythlogic,so I chatted with One Smart Nerd. Then I placed order right away. The conversation was very truthful and direct. The guy helps me save $200, which suppose to be on his revenue. After I placed the order, I keep emailing him about the updates, status, question almost on a daily basis. "Simply Amazing. I first had issues with my credit card and the online forms so I called them five minutes before they were closed. They were extremely helpful and called when they said that they would, a few days later. I received my computer within two weeks after ordering. For a gaming computer, the price is a lot better and more powerful than if you were to buy from Best Buy. I also had an issue when I couldn't hook up my monitor to my computer and they answered my question on the dot. I did not get any automated answering machine when I called them and their turnaround email is like less than 5 mins. Definitely worth recommending to others' who want a custom gaming rig"
"Initially this was a tough laptop purchase decision, I have been buying Sager branded laptops for quite some time now. But I finally decided to move on from Sager, just too many fit and finish issues and non responsive support.
Once I stumbled upon Mythlogic and found that they actually custom build their laptops from Clevo shells, my decision started to get easier. After researching I found that this is actually pretty rare as most companies out there actually just resell you a branded or non-branded Sager.
From my litany of pre-sales questions, purchasing, during the processing and build process communication and unboxing my beautiful Mythlogic Pollux 1611 I will never purchase a laptop from anywhere else. The sales guys were wonderful and they even agreed to pre-load several software items for me so I would have a "better out of the box experience" (as they put it).
Overall, if anyone is looking for a Sager (or Sager reseller) alternative, the people at Mythlogic have my recommendation!"
