Bait & switch price

"Bought a yamaha mixer prime day on Amazon....then got email saying order cancelled due to technical error...Amazon said they ran out....but today they are selling the same unit for $199.00.....$88.00 more than i bought it at....and showing 19 in stock.....today.....i bought it being 15 in stock.....I could have bought from another vendor.....but next time I will be watching out for Music123....Dirty as they come..."

Bait and Switch

"Ordered a Fender Telecaster on Amazon Prime Day. Item advertised for one price, I ordered and offer accepted and pending charge on my credit card. Then Music123 cancelled the order and raised the price.
Never again will I purchase from them or Musicians Friend or Parent Company Guitar Center. This is an unacceptable practice.

Amazon Scammer- Stay Away!

"I ordered a bass from these guys on Amazon, they put a hold on the funds in my bank account, and then cancelled the order due to a "Technical Problem." Stay away! If the price seems too good to be true (even on Prime Day), it probably is!!"

Not helpful at all. Total fraud company

"I was looking online to see the value of my "Toca Synergy Wood Conga Set With Stand" and clicked on an image from Google Search that took me to Amazon. I saw the value it was worth and closed out of my browser. An hour later I noticed on my debit card that there was a pending charge for $200+ dollars from Amazon. I investigated and found out that the Conga set I looked at earlier had been ordered without my consent or knowledge. Music 123 has a scripted image on Google search that will trigger a "1-click" order and charge you for an item you don't order, even if you aren't logged into Amazon! This is unethical and absurd. I never ordered the item, I wasn't logged into Amazon, and they refused to cancel it despite talking to two different customer services representatives from Amazon who contacted them to stop it.


I now have to skip out on work to make sure I am home when the item gets delivered so that I can refuse it. I would like an immediate refund placed back on my card, $269.99 plus tax and an additional $50 dollars to cover my overdraft amount! Why won't you refund me? Now with the overdraft fees included I am out almost 300 dollars. The only possible explanation I can imagine is that Music 123 was using a shady business scripting to trigger a false 1-click order. I build websites for a living and didn't accidentally order this, I didn't order it at all, this is a total scam. Don't trust these people!

What a headache!

"I purchased the Williams Legato 88-Key Digital Piano from Music123 through Walmart. I recommend buying it directly from Music123 and not Walmart, because if you need to exchange it for any reason, Music123 will make you pay for the replacement (because it was purchased through a third party) and then they'll refund you the amount when they receive the defective one.

The first keyboard I received had 3 keys that were making a bad buzzing sound so I returned it, purchased the replacement, and waited for my refund, but they only reimbursed me $150 when it should have been the full $200. It took me four phone calls to finally receive the right amount which they had to send through the mail as a check because Walmart (third party) was involved. What a pain! Music123 customer service wouldn't give me all the information until I asked the right questions - they were vague and everyone I talked to told me something different. I haven't even opened the second keyboard yet because I'm terrified something will be wrong with it too and I'll have to start this whole process over again.

As for the quality of the keyboard: It's pretty quiet and the headphones aren't any louder. If you plan on singing and playing, forget it, you won't hear the piano. I tried plugging in an amp but had no luck getting the sound to come through, not sure why yet. It is beautiful and if you don't mind it being quiet, it sounds nice, but I can't recommend it or buying from Music123.

Alvarez AP70 purchase

"I had a very good experience in purchasing an Alvarez AP70 guitar. I asked questions of knowledgeable people and received help making the purchase. The unit was described as a blem but you have to hold the guitar in the light just right to see any pick marks. It was shipped very quickly and received in good condition. I would purchase from them again.

"Music123 charged 84 dollars on shipping a 20 item that they said would only cost 15 bucks to ship, then they refuse to make it right. Had been a loyal customer for years. After rude email exchange I say never again."

$1699 purchase - NEVER RECEIVED ITEM - HAD TO FIGHT FOR REFUND - SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

"First of all I have to start saying that this is the worst experience I've ever had on Ebay after almost 10 years as a heavy user. The problem I am having with the seller is the reason why so many customers are leaving Ebay to other companies with better user experience and with more control on companies who literally screw their customers in any way and get away with it. I purchased an item on March 30 2016 for $1699 that was supposed to be delivered by April 6th 2016. On that same date and after "not" receiving anything I sent my first communication to seller. Then came another and another. Seller kept promising new dates for delivery and nothing ever happened. In the mean time I have lost $350 on credit card interest that I demand to recover since its taken a month and I haven't received my item. I lost my customer and two more potential buyers due to this lye on the product availability. This company has used my money for a full month and was never able to give a simple tracking number. I have purchased items from China for $4 and I got an immediate tracking number. This company music123 is offering expensive products that they do not have and are promising delivery dates that are not "real". They are lying to customers and doing this scam with who knows how many customers. The latest communication from them after this full month doesn't give a hint on the product and they are offering only a $20 compensation. Really????? Great customer service. I demand EBAY takes action on this company and their sales policies and I want immediate REFUND and COMPENSATION for the money I lost in interest and business losses."

Wrong item, damn I really wanted that.

"I ordered a couple of open boxed items from Music123. I thought I was getting a good deal. One was listed as blemished and the other was $100 cheaper and listed as scratch and dent. I ordered these two 4x10 cabinets to go together as a pair. My Blemished one showed up as a completely different brand and different configuration (8x10). They told me they have no way to see if my item is in fact still in the warehouse, shipped to a different customer, or was just labeled wrong in their system from the start. The “scratch and dent” one showed up as the right part, but is more than just scratch and dent. The wood is pretty badly damaged and appears as though it will break the rest of the way under its own weight soon. The worst part of this ordeal is the inconvenience. Music123 is taking both items back at no charge. I needed these for a show I was playing. I waited a week to get these, which isn’t bad, but now I have to try to be around for UPS to pick these items up and shorten my work day to be there and then wait another week for Music123 to have these in hand so I can be refunded for my purchase."

"Terrible service. I asked them to help make sure I had a package on time for a birthday gift. I was even willing to pay extra. They assured me the order would ship on time. It did not go out. I wrote them to complain. Their response? "there's instructions in the box to return the order" no attempt at customer service. Terrible company, do not buy. "

"I can't begin to detail everything that went wrong with my order. I live in Vancouver, Canada and purchased a used Roland FP-80 electric keyboard from Music123. The company told me I could not purchase from them direct because they did not ship to Canada, and that I should order through Ebay who did ship to Canada. I was never notified of additional charges associated with shipping to Canada, I was also not informed that the product had shipped via UPS and did not figure it out until UPS had made 2 failed attempts to deliver. The product was delivered completely damaged with virtually no packaging to protect it. When I attempted to return the item, the company at first told me I had to deal through Ebay and would take no responsibility directly for addressing the damage. I spoke with numerous different agents; each time having to repeat my story as poor or no notes were apparently kept by the various agents. Finally, I spoke with an agent did agree to facilitate the return, but then failed to direct UPS to pick it up. After a week, UPS did pick it up. It took an entire month to receive my refund. Ironically, upon returning the keyboard I went and found the identical item in mint condition for less at Long & McQuade!"

"I think unhappy customers are more likely to write a review than the ones that are happy with their purchase. I am quite happy with Music123 so I will share my experience. I ordered an Epiphone Les Paul guitar last week and received it in less than five days including the weekend. The guitar arrived in the original factory box and packed within another shipping container provided by Music123. The guitar was in perfect condition with no sign of damage whatsoever. I do feel, however, the outer container should have been marked "Fragile Do Not Drop" as was the inner factory box. The guitar did arrive safe and sound though. I have played the guitar and checked all the switches, knobs, etc. and have found nothing that does not work properly. I am quite pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy again from Music123. "

"i didnt want to do this because i have had good experiences in the past, however it seems like the company has started to fall. ebay orders are taking longer because music123.com passes all packages to UPS who then in turns passes off teh smaller ones to the post office at their liesure creating for slow moving late packages. contact them because of issues with order? you get a song and dance, refund you ask? ( and i am so glad you did), depends on payment method but as far as paypal they use stall tactics, claiming "third party", and bank for slow refunds. well should be no more than 3 days when paid with funds in pp yet this hasnt turned out to be the case. now it will be monday before i have a chance of seeing my money back in pp and to be honest i doubt i use music123 again with the exception of using a 15.00 credit i have with them currently.

if i could they wouldnt even have a 1 star rating as that is how far they have slipped as far as i am concerned. after "eating steak" for so long they cannot just expect me to start "eating $h!t" which is how i feel about my last experience with them.
