Cheap price. Free shipping. Product works. As long as those three things are met, I'm one happy consumer. And that's the experience I got from MrTech.
Admittingly, I was a little nervous before purchasing. With a less than stellar rating on this site, I was a bit apprehensive. But after looking for some time for a affordable multichannel sound card for my laptop, no one could beat MrTech's price. And since finding any 5.1 sound card for a laptop in Hawaii for under $90 proved to be impossible, I felt I should give it a try.
My fears grew when, after buying the card through Ebay, I never received any emails from MrTech for 3 days. Eventually the confirmation came and in about a 5 days, received my USB sound card as promised via USPS.
The quality of sound from the generic hardware proved to be nominal at best, but at $25, I got exactly what I paid for. Now I watch my DVDs in "surround sound!"
As a result, I would buy from MrTech again. But probably wouldn't purchase a pricey item."

Not that I am in a hurry but acordtech, and pcimicro both are so much better in this its take them only 1 day and only 2 days at the latest if they are very busy; so I receive my orders very fast either way. Well mr.tech, they have my business instead. Oh well, your loss really for being so slow like a turtle vs a rabbit in a tag race.

2 weeks to get CD Burners from them, 5 different stories about what happened.
I will NEVER buy another product from these people again, even if they paid me to buy it. UPS Confirmed that they never received the pickup order from this company, yet, MR.TECH claims that it was on it's way each time, yet when I went to check order status via UPS website, it was never updating, after a week of this UPS confirmed no order was picked up from this company.
Even confronted, customer service blamed UPS for the foul up. Then I get an email stating that they'd been out of the units I ordered for a while and they wouldn't have them in for another week, but yet, they sent out my order on Friday.
I'll have to see when my order gets here if it is correct. If it is not, I plan to contact my attorney generals office and file suit. That's how poor this company is and has done business. I will also be turning them in to the BBB over this very issue so that they can be investigated. I don't think a company like this should be allowed to continue to cheat and lie to people.
My final word: NEVER PURCHASE A THING FROM THEM."
"Ordered a Diamond DT-688 3D Audio PCI 5.1 Surround Sound Card for my computer because my old sound card had static in the sound. They sell Nokia phones, etc. I ordered a headet for a phone - which arrived unusable. Their customer services is both non-existant (as well as arrogant). You get put to work filling out forms, they ignore you - try and get your money back.
You have to fill out web forms; else they will not hold a conversation with you. I sent it back; and because of (7 cents) postage due they sent it back to me! (even though it was clearly communicated to them it never worked) Then then were untruthful and said it never came to their office (but actually was refused by their office)THIER NOKIA PRODUCT DOESN'T WORK; YET I HAVE TO PAY THE POSTAGE; THEY CAN'T EVEN ACCEPT 7 CENTS WORTH OF RESPONSIBILITY !
When I complained, they even suggested I can the B.B.B. -and laughed . (Which I did, by-the-way)
