"I ordered the MM U2-UFO with holes drilled for the Black Ice radiators. I spent the next few months getting the rest of my components for my new EXTREME build. When I started to install the fans and radiators on to the case, I realized that the hole pattern was wrong 4 out of the 12 holes were not drilled right and on the back where there is another radiator all of the holes were not drilled properly. They give you the option of which hole pattern you want drilled. After spending far too many hours trying to assemble this together, I finally decided to drill new holes. Well needless to say it wasn't pretty. So after throwing a fit because I ruined a $350.00 plus dollar case, and now I have a crappy looking radiator I decided to try and get in touch with them to find out what a replacement front and back panel would cost. I had originally tried to call them since they have a phone number listed. each time I would call all I get is the same canned voice mail. saying that their phone hours are 10 am to 430 pm PST. They never pick up the phone. I have sent a number of emails and I have received 1 email telling me the panels are $50.00 dollars. I have since tried to find these panels on their website and I can't find them. So here I am with a totaly worthless POS case and absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from Mountain Mods. I'm out a $130.00 Black Ice GTX and I am just tired of trying to get anywhere with these people.
So in conclusion, I would have to say that this was my first and last time to buy from these people. While its a beautiful case and all that, I wish that the customer service was more in line with the price of the case. Phone support is important since people do need to speak to people at times. They got my money so they really don't need to speak to me I guess. But I have a few more forums to vent my frustrations. "
"I ordered a U2-UFO (with accessories) and received it in a little over two weeks. MM was out of a part, so there was a bit of a wait. The case was packed well and everything went together very well.
I'm very impressed with the design and quality of these cases. It will last much longer than the builds I put into it! Definitely a company and a case you should try out."

After working with them, they shipped the correct color item, and the cable I needed. They only charged me for the cable and 1/2 the shipping. "I wanted a case that would give me plenty of room and lots of drive storage abilities right out of the box. According to their website (even as late as the day of this posting, 8/25/06), their website said for my case, it came with a removable rack that held 9 Hard drives.
What I got instead was a case with a set of four brackets, that must be mounted on the fans that are then affixed to the case, that only supports up to 6 hard drives.
I emailed them pointing out the mistake and the misinformation, and felt that they should have offered to at least send me another set of brackets increasing my rack storage to 9. All they did was confirm that the website should be updated, and suggested I buy one of their high capacity racks (the one the case was SUPPOSED to come with originally!!!)
Needless to say, that with the exception of things that I MUST buy from them, I will no longer be doing business with them. "
"I had this company custom build a case for me back in November of 2005, a modified version of their UFO to my specifications. I was very pleased with the results. I can’t say enough good things about their tech support/customer service staff. From concept to completion was six weeks, as agreed to. So pleased that when I needed a smaller case for another project I ordered one of their pre-fabricated Twice7 cases. 72 hours to my door, WoW. I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending this company to family, friends or co-workers."

"They make the best PC cases I've ever seen... very high quality, made from thick-gauge aluminum with rock-solid construction. They are made in the USA by American craftsmen. I bought the big 18x18x18" cube case (U2-UFO Optimax) in red powder-coat finish. It's also available in black and natural aluminum. Both sides and the top come off easily with thumbscrews, and the motherboard tray slides out, so working inside the case is a no-brainer. This case makes the big-name asian brand cases look flimsy by comparison. If you're looking for a case that will last a lifetime and accomodate all your mods, then look no further.
Pros:
Quality; construction; craftsmanship; very flexible configurations.
Cons:
Pricey (but worth every dollar). Some optical drives are a bit of a tight fit in the upper and lower positions of the 5.25 bay cage (I put them in the middle, and the floppy drive and card reader in the top and bottom). No convenient USB/Firewire/audio ports on the front or top (I got a 5.25" multifunction device instead).
