"Order was supposed to ship next day and didn't. Seemed all too eager to cancel my order, semi-rude customer service. Wouldn't do business with again."

"I was looking for a pair of Mountain Hardware snowpants and I could not find them anywhere but this site that had them. I was concerned based on some other reviews so I used their online chat to ask if they had them in stock and they said yes. So I ordered them anyway and had them overnight shipped as I wanted to ensure they would be here in time. One day for preparation and then it was shipped and here the next day.

So I was very happy with my experience, the online chat person I discussed it with was excellent as well.

My only complaint is in regards to shipping, std shipping was free, 2day was 17USD and overnight was 27... but thats my own problem for waiting until the last minute !"

"Ordered a pair of Keen Newport sandals that were in a discontinued color. Received them in a timely manor and used them a few times during the season. The stitching started unraveling on the left sandal so I contacted Mountain Gear and they had me send them in. After 2-3 weeks of not hearing from them I called and discussed. They knew about them and were willing to let me choose another pair if I paid the difference. I agreed and choose another pair and paid the difference. Two days later I received this message "Hello,
Unfortunately, the Newport you ordered is completely sold out and no longer available for the season. I have cancelled them from your order and your credit card has not been charged. If you have any questions please feel free to call or email." I guess no real issues just didn't have what they offered and I was out $10 for shipping the sandals back.

"Placed an order for a Refugium Jacket. Mountain Gear was the only place that had my size. They gave me good information on how the jacket worked and fit. My order arrived in just 3 days and was exactly what I wanted. Highly recomend this company.

I called Mountain Gear and was told they sold or rented my name to other companies as well. This was done without my permission. At no time did I opt-in to direct mail spam."

"They did ship the item out but i didnt recieve the item until the 13th. Thats 9 days to process and ship the order. Which is a long time considering it wasnt shipped via USPS.
