Lost money

"I had some difficulty in opening paypal, so after searching the internet for an alternative I found moneybookers and opened an account with them.

Initially everything went okay, I took some payments and I was quite happy. The only problem was that many potential payers did not understand moneybookers or had difficulties opening an account with them so I never really managed to be totally happy with them as a paypal alternative.

The after many months, moneybookers decided to request further documents, they now wanted another proof of address from me, this was now a problem as I had moved address since I opened an account with them.

Moneybookers then froze my account, and took my $350 I had in the account, I could not provide them with a utility bill or bank statement of the past address.

I emailed them to try and get my money back, but they would not accept my dilemma, so I could not use them any more and lost the money.

I am in the belief that this is how many companies work now, they try and ask for further documents that they could have asked in the first place, in that way they can take money for nothing.

Now I an very skeptical with these sort of companies and it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

"I am part of a company that does mystery shopping and my payment goes to Skrill (Moneybookers) (no choice unfortunately.) In the past, I was able to get my money transferred to my bank account without much issues. For my recent payment, I have raised multiple tickets in order to resolve whatever issue they think there is (I'm getting a rejection on withdrawal no matter what I used, whether bank transfer, debit card etc). I also called their support team and followed the instructions to the letter such as registering a new email address, changing my password, sending them an email from the new email address etc. Until now, I am still unable to make a withdrawal. I've tried to send an email to the person who handled my complaint but nothing, no response at all."
