"I Made an order and when I received it, there were missing grips and they had added the cost of the grips to the shipping fees to balance their invoice, after numerous attemps they finally refunded me the missing items which were by the out of stock and had not reduced my bill by that amount. Also after placing another order they contacted me for additionnal shipping fees, so I asked them to cancel the order because the shipping fees were to high and more than the order itself and the answer I got was totally rude. I will never buy there again. "
"As a component clubmaker, I've spent thousands at Monark golf over the past few years. Their prices are usually o.k. and they have a better than average selection of components. Their flat rate shipping is a good deal, especially when placing large orders. Their turnaround time is usually 24 hours. On the downside, customer service can be spotty. English is a second language here and returns can be tricky. Expect to pay return shipping, even if the product is defective (rare, but it happens). You will never find any "free shipping" or % off holiday sales here either. Other than that, it's a good place to do business in a somewhat niche market.

"I purchased the B2 hybrid club set in late September. I found that all the clubs except the #2 hybrid were easy to hit and immediately improved my game. The #2 hybrid took a bit more more time to master. Yesterday I thought I finally got it. I hit a beautiful fairway shot and watched as the head flew off the shaft as the ball rolled on to the green. Mixed emotions. A local golf shop is repairing the club."

Sent them an email and got nothing in reply. Still have no idea whether they are processing the order, if it will arrive and doubt I'll get a shipping notice. "I've ordered from Monark many times and unlike some of the other reviews I've read here, my experience has always been positive. Prices are in keeping with the average of the component industry and the flat rate shipping is very fair, particularly with the quick turnaround time on most orders. My only dealing with customer service was regarding a recent purchase, where they were out of stock on a shaft I had ordered. They made me aware of the issue and were quick to offer options and a resolution. Their email replies were timely and courteous and they got the order out the next day. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that coupon codes and free shipping offers are a rarity; but then, their competitors are equally reluctant. In summary, I can only speak to my experiences and they have been consistent. "
