"Update to my previous review. I received an email from Consoleshop on 18 June 2008, confirming my order had shipped on 4 June 2008!!! Yes that's right I was told that my order shipped the day after it had been received!!! My credit card was debited for the amount payable on 3 June 2008, to Modchip.com in Monaco!!! My order was also shipped from Monaco.

Well if anyone wants an address to contact them, here it is, Beatrice Zohmann, 47 Avenue de Grande-Bretagne, 98000, Monaco, Monaco. (see my previous review, is she somehow related to the website owner Frederick Zohmann?). I hope your not surprised if you do not receive a reply.

I have used Google Earth to track down the location of Ms Zohmann, but because this is an exclusive area for wealthy people, the image is blurred, so not much detail is present. If I recollect correctly, places such as military bases and other sensitive areas are moved or blurred.

Anyway, to sum up, my order was delivered within the 5 working days from 18 June 2008.

The following paragraph is a series of questions, and I do not wish for them to be interpreted in any other way. The United Kingdom has draconian libel laws!

I wonder if this is a company that keeps no stock? If this is so, it may be the reason for the delays. The Principality of Monaco is I think, some sort of duty free zone, does this company acquire their stock duty free?

"emailed this company about my order and got nothing, then told them i was telling the credit card company to stop payment and got the standard " we are very sorry that you did not receive your order yet.

"Ripoff. It has been 4 weeks and I still do not have my order. I threatened to turn them in to CC company for fraud, that is what finally made them reply to my emails. However no results. I filed fraud charges with credit card and also filed with ripoff report on the internet they state that the report will tag console shop's webpage when you do a google search so maybe some other person will see that before they buy from console shop"

"For the first time, my son ordered an item from the internet witht the website of http://www.console.com which was suppose to be shipped on April 1, 2008 and received withing 3 - 6 business days, possibly 8(per the email they sent to him) but did not received anything. We have been trying contacting them by email because there is no telephone number listed anywhere on the site, and they did not respond to andy of the 26 emails. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE ARE DISPUTING THE CREDIT CARD CHARGES.

"I ordered a WHISPER MAX FOR XBOX 360 and GELTABZ FOR XBOX 360 on April 2, 2008. After some emails I received an answer that they shipped april 3. Today is the 15th. and I hope I will receive my order otherwise i wil do a creditcard chargeback.

"So, I ordered from this store some geek stuff. They received my payment and confirmed quickly that it was shipped to me. Good, I just need to wait 6 to 8 business days and if I don't receive my stuff they added that I can reply to them.

11 business days after I did reply to them because I had not receive it.

No reply.

I sent 3 more e-mails after that.

No reply

I went to the support page on their web site and filled a message in the “contact us section”

NO REPLY

I would strongly suggest everybody NOT to buy from them.

In May 2008 I finally received what I ordered. I had lost hope by then and was very surprised to receive everything.

from them and I got no response at all 15 business days after I placed my order. I threated them with legal action and in 4 hours they responded and 2 days later gave me a full refund. Lesson learned: next time check a sellers review. :D

"Ordered a ps2 chip from them 01/03/08, didn't receive it until 01/25/08, slightly more than 6-10 business days. It arrived with a broken piece. Tried to contact them on 1/25, 2/04, 2/12, all with no response, both from their support and order email addresses.

Friend of mine (against my advice) ordered something on 01/31/08 through me, and we got shipping confirmation 01/31/08, and still nothing as of 2/22/08.

And of course, no word from modchip.com on the broken order.

I really wouldn't even mind rebuying the damn thing that came broken, I just want the stuff to work since I imported like 8 ps2 games in preparation for its arrival.

But now there is next to nothing on their website, no ps2 mods or anything, the entire ps2 section just redirects to consoleshop where there are no modchip type things, only replacement parts and accessories. wtf?

"DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

I ordered some 360 parts from them and after not hearing from them after two emails, I looked them up and founf all these reviews. I should have done it before but i didn't. Then yesterday (21st), I get the below email:

"Dear customer,

we have shipped your order on 13th Feb..

Typically shipping takes 3-6 business days.

What if the typical delivery time has passed and I still don't have my order?

Because of postal delays it may sometimes take a bit longer for an order to arrive than the typical delivery time.

If you have not received your order within 8 business days after you got your Shipping Confirmation Email, you may reply to this e-mail including your order information."

I replied with this:

"After not receiving responses from two of my emails after over a week. I did some research on your company and found out that your company doesn't like to follow through with orders or respond to customers. So I filed a complaint with my credit card company and had the charges reversed. Everyone that's filed a complaint online about your company has received this exact email, but when they finally receive the items after another month, the actual shipment date is weeks after it had supposedly shipped. I beleive the consumers because you claim to have shipped my order out on the 13th but my credit card wasn't charged until the 18th. I don't know any company ANYWHERE that would ship out items before successfully charging a credit card.

Do not ship my items! I no longer want them as I told you in my first email.

I will continue working with my credit card company until this issue is fully resolved"

Then today, I get this:

"Dear customer,

thank you for your mail, your order has been cancelled. Your payment has been refunded. The credit will show up within the next business days."

So they clearly acknowledge that my order was NOT shipped out like they had said.

"I ordered a Special Edition Black/Red DS Lite shell on the 27th of January and it arrived 2 weeks later on the 11th of February.

Overall I did not have a problem with the order although I do think the shipping time on the site should be updated a bit. (I ordered using the 3-6 day shipping and it sure as heck took longer than 3-6 days. Try 10-20.) The shell was in perfect condition and was (amazingly) 100% legit too. (Which I really wasn't expecting.) Other than the shipping though, I didn't have any problems and I was a little surprised to find all these bad reviews from this site. I will say though if you live in the middle or western states expect a long time until your order arrives. I live close to Philadelphia PA and my order took 2 weeks so theres no saying how long it'll take elsewhere. If I would have read these reviews first I probably wouldn't have ordered but my package did come with no problem so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Overall I guess I am one of the few who is satisfied with my order.

"I ordered a Slim Kit Pro NTSC kit from Modchip.com on Jan 27. It finally arrived on Feb. 13. They did say 3-6 days, but it did take a lot longer than that. The kit works fine, except Part C which is supposed to be jammed into the lid hinge space in the back on the left side. That part was too thick and too flimsy. We ended up opening the case and jamming the little switch with a wad of rolled up duct tape. The other two parts are very helpful. Works fine together with the Swap Magic 3.6 CDs. We are now playing a direct import game from Japan perfectly. Of course, we have no idea what they are saying ... but the kids are happy and think dad is an electronics genius."

"i ordered a psp slim headset for online talk and a psp slim remote. i ordered it on 1/15/08 and they eamiled me on 1/16/08 saying it was shipped. now its 1/1/08 and i still havent gotten my stuff

"I ordered XCM 360 FULL CASE *SMOKE BLACK* INC. ALL BLACK WIRELESS CONTROLLER SHELL with their so-called Best Price Guarantee program at a price of $47 (excluding shipping) instead of at the usual price $70 on 5th September 2007. I was tempted of buying item from them because of low shipping cost. The next day i received shipping info stating that typical delivery day is 3-6 days but i dont mind about that because my previous order from consoleshop took only 2 weeks to arrive.

2 weeks has passed, my order hasn't arrive yet. I started to send some email to them to inquire regarding my order. They respond by stating they have courier difficulty. Again, a week passed by, try sending some more email to them, no response from them at all.

For nearly 2 months i've been sending email to them in which none of it was responded, i gave up. Now i turn to the ConsoleShop forum and it turns out i wasnt the only one who has the same problem. One of the forum member started to do class lawsuit after gathering a lot of information about the ConsoleShop. Later after that, the forum is closed, and the link to the forum at ConsoleShop site was removed.

Out of ordinary, i decided to give out a very bad review regarding their site at one of their item's review, namely the item that i ordered from them, SMOKE BLACK case, by saying ConsoleShop is scam, and by giving out this link.

The review does show up at first, few hours later, the review got deleted. DAMN YOU CONSOLESHOP!!!

I CONCLUDE THAT CONSOLESHOP IS SCAM!! DONT BUY FROM THEM ANYMORE!!!
