"BUYER BEWARE

Purchased directly from Mobile Black Box.

D.O.A. The unit NEVER worked; No signal transmitted (I happen to have some technical background).

After 45 minutes of efforts to get it to operate, the LCD display went blank. Battery door not locking into place. Product feels inherently fragile CONTRARY TO PROMISING DESCRIPTION AND TESTIMONIALS ON SELLER'S WEB PAGE.

Purchases and Returns within the 90-day "warranty" period are always with shipping costs at buyer expense regardless of who is at fault. Restocking fees, strictly at seller's discretion, may easily reach the 40% level - per website.

Merchant operating from a P.O. Box in California and is communicating strictly via unsigned e-mails.

Parent Company's name, address, as well as Mobile Black Box address and telephone number under names "Mobile Black Box" or "MobileBlackBox" are not listed on their web page and could not be found in any of the major telephone directories or Better Business Bureau listings we researched. Further investigation indicates they could be based outside of California.

Seller uncooperative about issuing full refund. We filed claim via payment clearing company which, after an unsuccessful attempt to resolve the issue amicably with seller, ruled in favor of buyer, us, so eventually we were able to recover full amount.
