"In March 2020, with 1200$ I was on a mission to upgrade my gaming rig that i had built in 2013. With AMD coming out with better processors i decided to make the switch from Intel. The Sales Associates went above and beyond answering all my questions and assisting me with picking out optimal parts that i needed.The store had plenty of things in stock and at a competitive price to online stores like New-egg and Amazon. I would definitely shop at a Micro Center store again and recommend my friends do too for all their parts needs."
"MicroCenter is a great place to purchase numerous technological items. Until now it's been great. However, after much searching I deciding to purchase a very nice ultra-wide gaming monitor from them. Everything went well until the delivery. Due to my job and the requirements placed upon FedEx, I was not able to adjust the delivery location more suited to my commute and residence. Since this monitor is a "nice-ity" and not a necessity, I sent it back without ever seeing anything other than FedEx "missed delivery" tags.
I may never purchase anything from MicroCenter online again. And since the closest one to me is two hours away, I might purchase from them in the future.
UPDATE: I don't know what went on behind the scenes but... I happened to stay home a few days after submitting this review for an issue with my vehicle and while waiting for a call to pickup my vehicle from the garage, FedEx delivered this monitor. I was not asked to sign for it. I assume that since the FedEx driver received a response from me, I live in an apartment building with intercoms, he left the package. I retract my ire because of this odd positive twist of events and the phenomenal performance of this monitor."

"I ordered computer, monitor and a mouse from Micro Center, all from the same store, all saying there was multiple of each item in stock. I got the PC on time and in great condition (didn't get tracking number for package until day after I received but not big deal lol), however for the other 2 items the process was worst ever. 4 days after I placed the order I got the first "cancel" e-mail came, it says cancelled but in e-mail it says to wait to see if on back-order or whatever, and it has been 2-3 weeks with no word about items. That one was for the mouse I ordered and did not worry too much about it, however the monitor was supposed to ship a week after I ordered, but instead after a week I finally got another "canceled" e-mail. I do not know what happened, and have spent at least 4 hours on hold trying to figure out with no luck. Do not order from them, maybe try going to one of their stores to see if experience better?"
"I got a big envelope containing a card for the roughly $6 shipping costs to me that would have fit in a business envelope and could have shipped for $.55 through the mail. It was a renewal for Eset security premium. I like the software because it is not too intrusive but still seems to get the job done. Micro Center needs to rethink their shipping costs with so many companies that sell online offer free shipping. Finally got it installed after some trouble because I already had it on the computer but it was just about to expire. The tech support number I tried for Micro Center said because of the virus they couldn't answer tech questions on the phone. Which has to be one of the most bogus answers I have gotten in a long time because any tech should be able to answer from home. My opinion is Eset security is good but Micro Center online sales and support stink."
