"We set up an appointment for an estimate. The employee came out, took pictures, diagram, and was very professional. We had to go to the showroom to meet with a designer for the estimate. We had a very specific design and had picked the materials we wanted (Metro did not have any marble). Our bathroom is very small and we were not changing the footprint. Replacing tub with walk-in shower, new 30inch vanity, toilet, and tile throughout. Their estimate was $54,000 with us purchasing all of our own marble tile!!! The other estimates were less than $10,000 which is typical for a bathroom remodel. Their estimate is equivalent to a high end kitchen remodel. My husband and I believe they just did not want to do the job for us. They can't possibly think we are stupid enough to pay that much for a small bath refresh!!"
"I've had multiple bathrooms done by the fine people at Metropolitan Bath and Tile. Our first project ( a 4 x 6 powder room) went so smoothly that there wasn't a moment of hesitation to consider them as the only choice for our 2nd bathroom remodel (5 x 8 hall bath).
From the first minute our estimator was there to the last minute our crew completed the job, every single detail was paid attention to. They answered every question we had and we've referred multiple friends and family to Metropolitan and they have been satisfied with their projects as well.
The other review just doesn't seem inline with the values that they hold. I have worked with home contractors before and have been left not only disappointed but flat out left in the middle of construction. We are thankful to everyone's maximum effort to complete 2 beautiful bathrooms that we know have been built to last. They are a contractor that has been nothing but honest and we value their hard work and integrity. When we are ready to remodel our master bath, they are the only company we are calling.

"This place shows a great tv ad and gives a great 1st look but after that it is a scam job!! Called them up for a bathroom remodel. Told to come to Rockville showroom. Showed up at showroom(35miles away)only to find out that an appointment WAS needed b4 anyone would talk to us.Made an appointment...3 weeks later still no contact(Sales Rep Melissa?). Called and found out they lost our contact info. They sent out an estimator who took drawings dimensions and discussed the job with us.Melissa(?) contacted us about 2 weeks later with an estimater well over $20,000 for a 6'x12' br for a vanity and shower replacement and upgrade to Corian.We called the estimator who agreed the cost was way too high for the job. He resubmitted the job..never heard from MB&T again! In the packet of info was also a Certificate of Price Match guarantee. We submitted 2 estimates that were $5000-7000 less for the exact same job and talked to Melissa about it. She refused to to remodel our bathroom with any of the other estimates.
This company only caters to the rich and well to do with work at $25k or more.
They are scammers, deceivers and frauds!!"
