Going downhill fast

"No longer the main artery. Their website is garbage. They did away with systems (tech) so their app is useless, outside of making a simple shopping list. Items regularly showing as out of stock or in-stock when they aren't. So the poor workers get the earful when you can't find anything, including a sale item. No option to leave a product review online. Digital coupons and mperks that don't work, or are down half the time. Place has gone downhill in a handbag. "

Terrible customer service

"I rearranged my schedule to pick up a Christmas present. When I called the store to let them know I was there, I was told they were out of the item and had been for some time. And yet it shows up on their website as available. I sent an email to customer service. I never got an email back to even apologize. They are too busy to call and let me know they are out of an item, and too busy to apologize, but don’t care about waisting my time and gas. I will never go back there again."

Meijer brand coffee pods

"Seeing no place to review a product online at the Meijer site I searched the web for other places to leave this info. Coffee drinkers need to know how poor your new Columbian K pods (white label) are...extremely weak compared to old style you previously sold. Even a 6 oz cup is weak for a medium roast coffee. Going with sam's club organic exclusively now which was our other favorite. Seriously Meijer, you need to quality check those new pods. Bring back the old orange label pods!"

"A product was labeled 5 for 10 dollars NO sign saying I had to buy 5, I was halfway through checking out that to get that price I had to buy 5.

No sign. Nothing at the product display, just oh you've waited in line, you're halfway through, you're not getting the price you were promised.

Don’t print coupons if people can’t ise them.

"I bought a $60 item returned it so I could use the Santa bucks. Mind you. They made me go home get the item. Which I did. When I tried to use the coupon they refused to sell it back to me. The person in the department who was the only one that was helpful called a manager and asked that they sell it to me because they didn’t have another one. When I approached the manager Pam and clerk Jennifer I was treated like dirt and told I should have waited for the item to be put back on the shelf, They were only doing it because John called. Thanks for all your help! Not like I don’t spend hundreds of dollars in that store on a regular basis especially this time of year. I guess it’s time to find a less greedy place to go. "

Reset was horrible mistake--E 96th St store in Indpls

" The reset done last year in the women's clothing, lingerie, bags, and jewelry was a terrible mistake. You even did away with popular brands. By the lack of women I see shopping now in the department and the huge piles of clothing that I see on clearance that you can't sell, I see most others agree with me! Why did you change a great consumer friendly layout for this? Sometimes change just for change is not the better thing to do!!"

Make sure you check your receipt

"Almost every time I try shopping at the Normal, Il store I do not get the sale price and have to waste my time going to the service desk and waiting to get a refund since items do not ring up at sale prices. This happened again today 1/3/2019. Also the coupon I gave the cleck was not deducted. Make sure to check your receipt since this happens almost every time I shop at this store. Guess they won't think people will notice they are not being given the correct price .
Probably our last visit since this has happened the past 5 times in a row. Original Inv#A020701PSN03zus ,
Invoice # A02070UFQW03ZXS, for coupon credit refund AND INV# A02070UV5D0402SFOR ITEM THAT DID NOT RING UP CORRECT SALE PRICE.

Photo Department

"I went to the Lima Meijer store to develop a collage of pictures I had. A young college student, Justin, went above and beyond in assisting me with my task! I am 65 years old and technology can be puzzling for me. Justin was extremely helpful and most importantly kind and NOT condescending in the least. He was gracious and put together a beautiful collage for me! It has been my experience that the folks in the photo department are always kind but Justin really did outdo customer service that day! Thank you Justin! You will be a great nurse one day! Thanks Meijer for hiring such thoughtful people!"

Bullies

"A meijer employee said my daughter stole a knife. She told them it was hers several times. They came back with some random knife box and said they saw her do it. They do not even have this particular knife in their inventory but they still want her to pay for the knife that they kept that does not belong to them. Who is stealing from who. They did not even have police present and questioned her without an adult present. They also interrogated her in a confined room which is also not aloud . I do not even want to give them a star"

A Once Great Company....

"I have been shopping at Meijer most of my adult life. 4 years ago I would have told you it was the best retailer to shop....PERIOD. In that time something has changed, and it is across multiple stores, so it has to be higher up than just the individual store managers. Every store has maintenance that needs to be done, obvious maintenance like Doors not working, stained or dirty floors, lights out, etc.... The product selection is reduced to make you have to purchase Meijer branded products. The employees are NOT customer friendly, to the point they will cut you off as you are walking around if you are in their way. The new handheld barcode scanners they have read worse than the only light grey ones they used years ago. I will say the NEW Lapeer store manager is trying to bring that store back after a decade of mis-management, but he has a long road ahead of him. Just my two cents! "

"I just found out that even if I shop at the Meijer store every week I may not be able to use my mperks which happened to me. I was told I would have to go into my account and keep updating to let Meijer know that I was still shopping there. I can't get credit for the large amount of shopping did yesterday. I think I will do my shopping at Walmart from now on. Now I just found out I can’t do the survey until I open another account. What in the world is Meijer doing. "

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

"I had a great experience with Jacob W at the Portage Indiana Meijer. He works in produce and went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. He had a very nice and pleasant personality and I feel workers like this deserve sincere commendation. So if his manager sees this please tell him to keep up the good work. And it would be nice to treat him to a great lunch or a free day off!!!!!"

"TERRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Corporate should be appalled!! Get it together! Time after time. 45 minutes in line on two occasions?!?! Regular Deli visit=a 30 more min stop!!! No scrip for my sick daughter 7 hours later?!?! No one at this store appears to care... AT ALL!!"
