"Ordered Corsair TWIN2X1024A-4300C3Pro DDR2 ram kit from MOCC.ca on Sept 6. Recieved an order confirmation e-mail immediately just to confirm what I ordered. On Sept 7, revieved an automated e-mail stating that my order was now being processed. On sept 9, revieved an automated e-mail stating that my order was to ship that day. NO information was provided on who was being used to ship the products to me and NO tracking number was issued. On sept 14, at approx 1:00 pm, finally recieved my shipment. It was shipped by Purolator. The ram was inside a sealed cardboard box with a sealed gray plastic bag on the outside. The ram was not wraped in anyway as you could easily hear it move inside the box. Thankfully there does not appear to be any damage.
Overall, I am disapionted with how slow my order was proccesed and shiped to me, not to mention the aggravation with not knowing who is being used to ship it to me and no tracking number to get an ETA on the shipment. Fortunately for MOCC.ca, they were the only ones left that I could find in Canada that carried this particular type of RAM, so I didn't really have to much choice but to use them. I took into consideration there seemingly glowing reputation on this web site when I placed my order; clam in knowing that so many others have had good experiences with this Online dealer. I suppose it is a lesson learned: Buyer beware!"

"Mocc Overdelivered.

Bought a motherboard from Mocc in January, and the whole experience was pleasant enough that I've come back to give them a good word, 6 months after the fact.

Purchased a MSI K7N2 DELTA2-LSR motherboard for my "daily driver" computer - an Athlon board to replace one that I bought from another vendor, which died just shortly out of warranty. After already getting a DOA motherboard the first time. After waiting closer to 3 weeks total from ordering, to receiving a working motherboard.

Steve over at Mocc, after taking the time to confirm the order details on my replacement, seemed sad to report that because I ordered so late on Thursday, he couldn't get the part in from his supplier *next day*.

Order confirmed on Friday, arrived Saturday.
I put it in my system, and had it running that evening.

Steve deserves a lot of credit for how Mocc operates. Now, he was careful to repeat to me, several times on the phone (I web ordered, and he confirmed on the phone - nice touch there too), that they can't ALWAYS get things in that quick, but let's be truthful here -- I was much happier to be told 1-2 business days, and get the part in faster, than the 2-3 week ordeal I had previous.

Upgrades, since they always happen with my computer, given enough time, will mean I'll be visiting Mocc again. Prices are good there, but hey, a week of my time waiting is worth something too!
