Poor pattern designer

"I have instructed my family that if I ever purchase another MP pattern, they are to take my sewing machine away! I purchased a pattern for my grandaughter's christening gown with multiple rows of fancy bands, so I knew I would be purchasing many yards of lace. Her yardage requirements were so off, requiring additional purchases that well exceeded my budget. This year I purchased a Little Prince pattern and of all things not all pieces were included. There was an instruction buried in the instructions to cut 2 rectangles for the leg bands. For the price one pays for a pattern, why aren't ALL pattern pieces included? I was trying to adapt the cutting lay out to use a remnant of 60 inch wide fabric rather that the 45 inch wide layout and only caught the discrepancy before cutting. And the final straw was the the neck circumference garment was 9.5 inches What 6 mont hold has a neck that small? Martha Pullen, you can do a much better job of transferring you ideas into accurate patterns"

"I placed an order to construct an Easter dress. When I had not received my lace after 10 days (and no shipping notification) I called and was told that they had a lot of orders and had just cut the lace for the orders 11 days prior. I was promised a call the following day to verify shipment. When 2 days passed with no call called again. I was told that they had a school running at that time and only two packers. No apology-no attempt to remedy the situation. Only a statement that all of the orders that were placed on the day rt hat mine was placed were shipped yesterday or the day before. But mine was not listed in them so it would likely go out today. And, of course, sine it's a weekend it will be another week before I can expect it. I told the clerk that my items really should be overnighted to me.I told her that since they knew they were having a school it seemed to me that they would have planned better and hired additional help. No apology. In the future I probably will not order from rt his company again. I would rather pay a little more and just drive to a store than deal with this level of service."
