"looked for a distributer on the east cost with a western digital 1200jb in stock with a good price. saw better prices on the west coast, but wanted it fast without having to pay through the nose for shipping. took 11 days for me to get it. i am 2 days away by ups ground. called and e-mailed several times and never got any good answers. ended up ordering another drive from googlegear after waiting a week and got the drive from outwest first. closer is not allways faster

"I bought a Western Digital special edition 120GB hard drive. It took them 2 weeks to ship even though the site said the drive was in stock. The product arrived as ordered, but only after I sent a polite follow up e-mail to their support address to find out the status of my order. There was no support response, but I did get an e-mail two days later notifying me that my drive had shipped. It was recieved on 12/3. They seem to be able to ship a product, but don't bother to overnight ship anything since the time to delivery will only be cut short by a day or two and is not worth the extra cost. Their prices are cheap though!"

"Online prices were not the same as Pricewatch prices, so I called and they honored Pricewatch price. Didn't have to wait on hold for a rep, rep was curteous and answered all my questions. Order process went very smooth. Order was received in 5 business days, like they said, no problems. Shipping was very reasonable too, $15 flat for a 20 lbs package. A hint for any online shopper: check about warranty, returns, restocking fee, etc. first. I see a lot of complaints about these things but sometimes people don't ask first and are surprised later when there is a restocking fee."
"Their price for the motherboards I ordered were great. The online order had no way to adjust to Pricewatch pricing. I called, they said just make a note on the order. There was no order # provided on the online order, no email confirm, didn't ship until 5 days later, and increased the shipping charges 33% when they adjusted the product price to Pricewatch price. I called and was able to speak to a live person, but they seemed oblivious to any of my concerns, and rarely allowed me to finish a sentence. I want to know what the total cost is when I order anything online, rather than buying on faith. I would strongly caution that you may find this seller unhelpful if any problems arise on your order. I have not dealt with a company that handled my order and responded so unprofessionally in over a year. Great prices.. but buyer BEWARE. "

"This is the third time I have ordered from MainComp in couple of years. The past two experiences went GREAT!!!, but this time I had a problem. I had ordered a P4 2.4 Ghz 400Mhz processor, but I received a P4 2.4 Ghz 533Mhz processor. I called them and they said they didn't have one in 400Mhz bus(Bummer). They suggested upgrading my motherboard or buying another CPU, but that didn't work for me so I requested an RMA. I promptly received an RMA# and I shipped the CPU back and my creditcard was credited. Wow, are these people GREAT or what! Even though the order was wrong, the service was great!!!!
