Damaged goods

"I ordered a Mamas & Papas mini Puppy plush toy as a baby gift. I placed the order thru Amazon for it from MacroBaby which online stated they had only 3 in stock. Since they won't ship to Hawaii, I had it sent to a friend in Texas. When it arrived (on time), it was missing an eye! Amazon is great for returns, but I decided to call MacroBaby and complain. The Customer Service Rep. was apologetic, sincere, and offered to check the stock so I could re-order the toy. Lo and behold she told me they only had "3 in stock"! I figured since there was one in Texas, they would be down to 2, but they still have 3 in stock. I am just hoping the next one isn't missing a limb or the other eye! As a first time customer to MacroBaby I wasn't thrilled the toy was shipped in an envelope instead of a box (maybe that's why shipping is only $3), and then to go thru the procedure of returning the toy and having to re-order it and now it won't get to its destination until AFTER Christmas.....I don't think I will be a returning customer...."
