"The first laptop they sent turned out to be owned by Apple and not meant for sale. First red flag: the top row of F keys did not work. Second: my Carbonite restore would not restore my files to the Documents folder, only to the desktop. I took the computer to Apple to get the keys fixed and it's there that they scanned the serial number and told me I should return this laptop as soon as possible.

I spoke with customer service and they were helpful to quickly get me a shipping label and send out a new laptop. The new one I received is in slightly better physical condition which is nice. I went online with Apple customer chat right away to explain my previous situation and had them check the serial number on that laptop to make sure everything was good."
