"I ordered a replacement part from this outfit and they sent me a 'substitute' part that was not even closely related to the part I ordered. I had ordered a second part from them, so after I returned the wrong part, they refunded for that but overblown shipping charge was ridiculous considering the one lightweight part I kept. They seemed VERY disorganized when called on the phone. I would avoid."
"I got the assistance I needed to locate the correct items based on my machine's model number. The parts arrived in the time frame promised. This was not my first order from M&D and won't be my last. They support many, many equipment brands. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Will do business again with M&D!"
"Do not walk but run from this company as fast as you can. I agree with a previous reviewer that this is the worst company I have ever dealt with and the shipping time is atrocious. They say 5 to 10 business days and they wait until the last possible minute to ship it. There is no excuse to sit on an order for 8 business days before it goes out the door. In a time when businesses are hurting you would think they would be willing to ship as soon as possible. Other companies I have ordered from have delivered the next day free of charge from further away than they are. The customer reps, (Marie and Amy are what they said their names were), were very rude and argumentative. They refused to answer questions or gave an answer totally unrelated to the question. When I asked where was the warehouse it was being shipped from their answer was it takes 5 to 10 business days to receive my order. They even tried to cancel my order and charge me a 20% restocking fee even though it had not been shipped yet. I will never do business with them again. I also rate them a zero."
"I have done business with this company before and never have a problem. The staff is very helpful in helping you locate parts if you need something looked up. The 5-10 days people on here are complaining about seems pretty standard to me. They have explained to me and most orders they have to process, get the parts in from warehouses and then ship. All in all I am very happy with the service I get from M&D every time."
"Worst On-line experience ever.. Absolutely useless. Go anywhere else..RUDE customer service. and if they tell you 5 to 10 days for delivery.. they mean exactly 10 days.. Everyone knows shipping accross the country is three to five days.. Most of the time three, worst case if it gets lost it will be 4 to 5 days...They won't even ship it for at least a week just to make sure that you don't get it till the 10th day.. Went to another site for some different tractor parts they shipped the same day.. Same bulk rate shipping method, ordered three days later, got to me three days sooner.. All because the other company didn't waste a week just putting it in the mail.. out of five stars I rate M&D Mower/Appliance a ZERO.."

"M&D mower is located in Ohio and I live in Michigan. It has been 8 days since i ordered a bushing and a washer, which I still have not received. In a business where time is money, service like this is unacceptable. The lady who took my order over the phone was literally the rudest lawn store employee I have ever come across, which is saying something. They also wanted $40 more for a spindle shaft that costs just over $10 at J-Thomas. They charged me a $4 handling fee since my order was like $5 and $8 for shipping. It was 5 days before they shipped my package. I have nothing good to say about my first experience with this place, and will definately stick to j-thomas. i built an entire mower and this was the only part j-thomas didn't have so had to use m&d."
