"We had an amazing experience at Bethany Village Montessori. Being brand new to Portland, we were unsure how our 2 year old would adjust to the new atmosphere. Ms Laxmi did an amazing job integrating her into the classroom and making her feel safe and well-cared for. After that, we had Ms Chitra who did an excellent job creating a fun learning atmosphere. One day our daughter came home and started to connect letters to make sounds, which was surprising for us since we didn't even know whether she knew all the letters yet! The director Devinka does a great job at keeping communication with parents and addressing our needs and concerns. "

"I love this school and the most of the staff and teachers. I think every child is different — so a Montessori may be great for one family and a struggle for another. I’m not entirely sure yet where my child fits in but I do believe the teachers and staff have the best of intentions and work hard to ensure the healthy development of every child. My only concern is I wish there would be a little more communication in the compass app.. but compared to other school’s communication styles— this one is great."
