"I was referred to Luther Rice by one of my pastors who had one of his masters degrees from Luther Rice. He is an amazing person and pastor as well is one of the top Christian bloggers in the country (and an very gifted speaker) so his opinion of the school was very important to me.
I’ve always been an encourager to people, especially to women who are struggling and I have been writing for years to encourage them. However I felt like I needed more knowledge and information to be a better communicator of Scripture. This is why I choose to get my Masters in biblical counseling from Luther Rice.
Being a later-to-life Christian and not having as much Bible knowledge as most people my age it was somewhat intimidating at first. But the instructors are extremely warm and genuine and even though I only got to know them through online courses, I found them to be excellent people and teachers.
The first time I stepped foot at Luther Rice was to pick up my cap and gown for graduation. From the simple exchange of words at the registrar’s office to the end of the graduation proceedings, I was surrounded by great students and friendly faculty and staff.
Without hesitation I would recommend Luther Rice. It helped to give me knowledge that I desired to move forward as a Christian writer. I have also had opportunity to participate in some speaking engagements for women’s ministries and appreciate the foundation that Luther Rice gave me to speak confidently in ministry and in every day life.

"I started at LRU in 2007 and shortly thereafter received my Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling (MABC). I then enrolled in a Masters of Apologetics and finished that in 2013. Learned a lot and had great professors. I live near the seminary so I was able to drive out and meet with them.
In 2013 I started my Doctorate in Professional Counseling at another Baptist seminary. I was well prepared and heard nothing but good things about Luther Rice Candidates they received into their Doctoral programs.
Without hesitation I would recommend Luther Rice - not even a hesitation. Great School, Great professors and reasonable tuition. GO FOR IT.
