"Working as a Maintenance Supervisor for an 88,000 SQFT manufacturing facility we had the need to implement improvements in our building security. At the point where it was decided that we would purchase a security camera system, I immediately thought of Lorex. I had no problem recommending Lorex to senior managers since I had helped a friend years earlier install a small Lorex camera system in a family owned restaurant that worked great.
Selecting the combination LNR366 Series NVR with 16 Camera PoE system just made sense. If we had gone wireless we would have still had to run power to all the remote locations. With 32 ft high ceilings it was much easier to just run the network cabling to each selected camera location. Connecting the cameras was easy and the images were truly spectacular.
Not a negative but something to plan for was the increase in Network traffic that these HD cameras will add to your network. We eventually plan on creating its own managed network with its own internet connection for remote viewing.
We would definitely purchase this again and other company locations are looking at Lorex systems as well. It is a fantastic value for the advanced features the system has to offer. Download the manual for this system and you will be impressed with the capabilities and it works as written. "

"I have several of these Lorex wireless camera systems installed around the property. The farthest is on the other side of 100 feet + of woods, with a boosted antenna. The "oldest" has been installed for 3 or 4 years. I have had no problems whatsoever. All the cameras, displays and SD recording systems have worked perfectly. Very easy to install, no maintenance. You need 110 vac to power each the camera and the distance to the display should be "trialed" before installation. Trees, structures, etc. can inhibit good signal reception, so placement is important. Great product. The local spiders seem to like the infrared LED's so it sometimes appears that giant insects are attacking as they crawl across the camera/screen, lol."
"I purchased the LW491HD set January, and the set arrived in less than 8 days. It was well packaged and the included quick start instructions were easy to follow. The camera in both daylight, low light and night time environments provides a good, clear picture. Pairing the cameras is simple. The monitor has to be hard wired to your home router in order to provide internet connectivity, Since I live in a two story house my router is in the ground floor and I wanted to have my monitor in our bedroom upstairs, my solution to this is I have to use a Powerline Access Point in order to get it connected to my router. You can download the app to another wireless device or view on a home computer, it is still possible to monitor your system from just about anywhere, in or outside your home. Overall I am very pleased with the price and performance of the system. It has very good color video resolution. "

I purchased my 2 set of open box IP camera set LN1162pkg.
I thought they could be returned merchandises and might have some scratches which lorex mentioned if you purchase a open merchandise but buyer will get 1 year full warranty same way the unopened new box so thought what the hack I am saving almost the half of the cost of new, so I purchased my first set and when I received it to my surprised the camera was as good as new and finally I end up buying 3 set OF 2 PACKAGE CAMERAS from them. All my camera and Lorex Pind support is working perfectly I am out of town I can watch my home.
Customer service is awesome they respond to your questions and solve any issue you have with the products. They also extended my warranty 2 years.
Many buyers feed back was negative because they do not follow the installation procedures it is so simple if you follow the guide and watch demos on their website it took me only 10 minutes the first time and then as smooth as butter.

"I am over 65 and a granny. I installed most of the cameras myself and hooked up the system to an old TV so I could see it better (larger). Not only is the system great to watch down our driveway, the doors and each corner of the yard but also I can see the wild life that comes thru our yard and the birds. I can record what's going on at night or when we leave the house to run to town. I would recommend any of the Lorex 2 or 4 camera systems I have 2 one has 2 camers LW series and also a 4 camera LW series. I only wished I had bought 4 or more camera system to begin with. Love my high tech "Granny Cams", that is what the hubby and grandkids call them. You will not be sorry to purchase one of their systems. They are affordable and do the job. "
