"I first discovered Logos Bible Study program at version 1.6 when it came on floppy disks, and have been hooked ever since. Now I am a happy user of Logos version 4, which came out a year ago. If you are looking for a Bible study program, this is it. A search can be simple: type in a passage reference on the home page and hit the enter key. In seconds, a page pops up giving you your top five bibles in tabs opened to the passage, default commentaries and resources ready to illuminate the text, tabs for cross references, parallel passages, Biblical people, places and things, and more. Searches can be as complex as using morphological or syntactical data and searching in the original languages on collections of resources that you specify. The company is maintaining a state of the art Bible study tool. They are constantly innovating and users are benefitting. Logos has been quick to respond the few times I've had a question. The programmers exterminate bugs as they appear, and there is even a menu selection for rapid reporting of typographical errors.

"If your looking for software to do light research, then Logos 4 is the way to go. If your looking to do serious seminary work, then Logos 4 is the choice.
With simple right clicks of the mouse: you can copy, research, define words, and even add Greek definition to your commentary, and much more.
Word search is extremely fast. For instance: I did a research on the word "God." In 1.32 of a second I had 515,000 occurrences-no time for coffee there.
