Rude Employees

"Lilly might have beautiful patterns and designs but has horrible customer service. Received 2 rompers for Christmas gift and they were one size too small. The tags were missing so they would not exchange them for larger size. The store manager was rude the customer service was rude. The gifts were over $400. They had no mercy. I will never shop there again. "

Terrible return policy

"I received a gift of multiple items for my birthday. I had to return a skirt because it ran large. I re-ordered in exchange for the skirt a pair of pants that cost $10 more than the skirt. They would not apply the credit for the skirt against the pants because I kept a water bottle that was a free gift on the original order. I thought a phone call would clear up the matter but I was wrong. The only way they would apply my credit to the exchange order was if I returned a water bottle that had already been used. I would understand perfectly if the exchange order cost less than the return order but it was not. I will never order through this company again with such poor customer service policies. The consumer gets punished because they do not have a good way of monitoring their exchanges. "

Worst customer service

"There isn’t a star below 1, that’s why I had to give them at least one star but they honestly don’t deserve even that. They are so rude at the corporate department even at retail stores. Just because of there attitudes I have given up getting clothing from lilly. There return/refund service is worst than any of the companies. "

DO NOT SHOP HERE

"They advertise free returns but doesn't specify the short window you get even during the holidays. I returned something 1 day after (due to the holidays) and they would not even give a grace period. The customer service and policies are not in conjunction with the inflated prices you pay. I will never order from them again."

THEIF !!!!!

"I ordered two dresses they never arrived and they never paid my money back as the stupid shipping company- FEDEX shows it is delivered but it never Did, The company should cover my loss. Though, very RUDE costumer service simply said just go and dispute your transaction which I did but it got denied by the PAYPAL as the seller provided the FEDEX delivery information... So last time I buy something from you!!!! and will be sending this over social media and tweet it!!!!"

Very disappointed

" I have been a Lilly Pulitzer customer for over two years. I don’t consider myself a big spender though I do spend approximately $600 a month with them. It is so unfortunate that this company does not take care of their repeat customers and offer discounts or promotions or anything special. There after sale party is the biggest disappointment. They act like they are doing you a favor by discounting their items. I bought 12 dresses. And spent approximately $700. It took over four weeks to get these dresses delivered in the first place and then they came crammed in a cheap bag as opposed to their standard boxes. Which really isn’t even that nice, they should be bagged with tissue and still nice for what we spend. And being their loyal customers. I think this company could be so much more. I am just so disappointed in them. "

Extremely poor customer service

"Ordered a dress last min on sunday afternoon. Paid express delivery fee $35.00 for Tuesday delivery. Received no confirmation so called monday afternoon late and was told it should gave already left, but it had not. Because it was coming from KOP and going to Kennett Square PA i would have it Tuesday.

Called Tuesday morning 9:20 a.m. and package still had not left. I requested it to be cancelled and was told I could not as it was in process of shipping. I explained no one would be there as we were leaving for a destination wedding. Still could not cancel.

Called Tuesday evening and was told it still in shipping and I would have it next week. I explained i paid express shipping for delivery on Tuesday October 1. I explained i paid express and then she saw that but said I would get it Wednesday. I told her to cancel the order and she told me i couldn't. Again a customer can't cancel an order that has not shipped. More than ridiculous. I explained it was going to sit out in the elements and was told if it got wet I couldn't return it, but she can't cancel it.

I got an email today saying order has shipped, but they have shipped it to the wrong address.

Will never deal with ordering from them on line again. 3 customer service agents and 3 different stories. The last one even told us that they don't have fedx on Mondays. That's not what there website says.

Very, very unorganized company. So disappointing as I like their product.

Disappointed ☹️

"I ordered a dress online and I never got it, I called the customer service, and it took them forever to find out for some reason my order didn’t go through. I told them that I have the screenshot from my phone where it where it tells me the order was successful and the payment was done with gift card. She blamed me that I must have checked my email for confirmation e-mail I should have called them immediately, I suppose when it tells you that the order was successful I don’t have to worry about that. I asked what can I do now beacause I really like that dress and I want to get it with the sale price. She answered, nothing we can do, is the policy. She tried all the time to blame that the order didn’t go through, I spend a lot of money in that store over the year and they treat you like nothing. Not spending anymore my money there."

LILLY PULITZER STORE MADE ME PAY TWICE FOR THE SAME ITEM (TYSONS GALLERIA STORE)

"a new skirt got stretched out by at least 1 full size after 2 hours of me wearing it (!!!) which made it no longer wearable for me.
I went to the store to exchange to a smaller size or get refund, manager Maria (without care in the world for anything that i was saying) let me know it's not in company's policy to exchange anything that doesn't have a tag on it. i guess it IS in company policy to FAIL letting customer know how horribly a piece of clothing will stretch......so i bought size smaller anyway since it was middle of a work day and i was embarrassed by how the skirt fitted me at that point....
sidenote: i'm a mom of 2 who's just getting back into shape, and this was my first high waist skirt in a few years, so naturally i was raving about it's perfect fit upon trying it on in the store, that same manager Maria was there and yet she did not say a single word.
i sent an e-mail to Lilly customer service asking for the refund for the larger size skirt, got same message "sorry, but you know, company policy".

so incredibly disappointing to run business like this - is your motto to hustle working moms so you can get double profit? is your motto to disregard such thing as compassion and instead just spit out "company policy" on every corner?
i'm especially sad because Lilly is, well was, one of my fave brands - clothes that would bring a bit more joy in my every day life, and now i'm realizing it's a business that's so pretty on the surface yet completely rotten on the inside.

"My Lilly dress showed two quite sizable holes on its third wash. The dress has only been
worn twice, the washing machine is a modern, 3-years-old one, and the dress was always placed in a laundry mesh bag when I cleaned it. Customer service doesn't exist, no response whatsoever...
