Horrible company! Don’t just walk run away…

"I placed an order on 3/10/2021 to do a lens replacement on a pair of new glasses I recently purchased. I chose to ship them with my own box and printed the shipping label provided by lensdirect.com.

3/17 - I received a email telling me that my item was received and it’s being worked on. 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS & MY ITEM WILL BE ON ITS WAY!

Let’s fast forward to April 6, 2021. I have not received ANY word on my order!! After sending two emails I finally call customer service, Turns out they don’t have the supplies to fill my order. The customer service representative goes on to tell me that they cannot give me an estimate of when they will be getting supplies or even a rough estimate of when they could get started on my order. LOL ALMOST A MONTH IN AND I WAS NOT TOLD THIS? Not only was I not told about this LONG DELAY but I wasn’t given a choice on whether or not I would like to wait.

April 19 I have not received absolutely anything from this company. Not only that but it cost $207 for these lenses. I have not received my glasses I have not received a refund and I have not received even an ounce of sympathy from customer service.

THIS IS THE MOST UNTRUSTWORTHY, THIEVING COMPANY OUT THERE. TAKE MY WARNING & SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE.

DONT SEND YOUR GLASSES TO THEM, especially if yours are good ones!

"I sent my eyeglasses frame for lens replacement. When I received my order, the frame sent to me was not mine. The frame I sent was Versace VE3186, square shape in almost new condition as it was hardly used (writings on the temples were apparent). The frame I received, while it was also Versace with the same color, was different in shape and old (the writings on the temples were faded). Additionally, the old lenses that they sent to me were not mine (different prescription and were not transition lenses, mine were transition). They insisted the frame was mine, with no solution offered. I desperately need these glasses, but they kept wasting my time with frustrating numerous phone calls I made and unanswered emails and I had to go to post office because they didn't send me the return label. I lost money from making this order ($76.50), additional shipping to return the frames ($9.50), and my frame (over $745 but with insurance I paid $215). I desperately need these glasses, why would I returned them if they were mine??
DONT SEND YOUR GLASSES TO THEM, especially if yours are good ones!

Poor Service!! SAVE YOUR MONEY

"I ordered a basic pair of prescriptions glasses on July 8 and provided all of my optics information. It is now July 21and I have not received any word about my glasses. I've called twice and been given the run around. They say they offer a 'dedicated representative', which is a lie because I have always had to 'Press 1' to speak with someone else.

This company is not worth it. Just go to your local eye doctor and get your glasses/contacts the regular way.

"I have always had such a great customer service experience with Lens Direct. They are super nice and really helpful! I am thinking about picking up a pair of glasses from them soon, as the prices seem cheap and i want to give wearing glasses a try again. Highly recommended!"
