DECEPTION REGARDING PERSONALIZED ITEMS

"An order for personalized Christmas ornaments was placed on Dec. 11th after checking the website thoroughly for a deadline date (none listed). Paid for expedited shipping to guarantee Christmas delivery. When I called them today to check on the items, they advised that their website CLEARLY indicated that a deadline of Dec. 8th was posted on their website for personalized items. Since I generally examine website thoroughly before placing an order, I was skeptical that I had missed such important information. Guess what, checked again today and there is NOTHING about deadlines. So, all of my Christmas ornaments will be delivered whenever the company gets around to it. Happy Holidays from Lenox!"

Brides beware...terrible customer service

"I am a engaged and actually had registered with Lenox. I placed an order for an item on Jan 2nd that I would like for my reception in April. After placing the order I was notified that the item was backordered. No biggie...thought this might be beacuse of the holidays and don't need the item until April. It is now Jan 13 and have not heard about the status so thought I would give them a call. Lenox customer service stated that the item is discontinued instead of backordered. I am disappointed that they did not let me know earlier. Also strange because this item is still listed for sale on the website. Also strange because they stated that the item is available as two different sets? Why could they not just place two sets together for me and honor the order? My biggest issue was that I had bought this item on sale and used a discount that David Bridals had given me. I asked if I could order something similar and use the discount from Davids Bridal but they said no. The customer service rep did not even seem to want to help or understand my frustration. Very disappointed in Lenox and I am changing my registry."

Poor ordering system and customer service

"I am very disappointed with LENOX.COM ordering system and their customer service. On Sunday November 6, 2016 I placed an order online large enough to more than qualify for free shipping, then I added a promo code for a discount but the shipping was reapplied to my order because the promo code brought the total $2 below the "free shipping" amount but that did not reappear until I had submitted the order and noticed the final invoice contained the shipping charges. I tried to call Lenox.com but unfortunately their customer service was not available on Sunday so I immediately sent an email to them stating that because my order with the promo code was $2 under the free shipping was removed and I was charged. I wanted to add an item to my order or cancel and replace the order to ensure I got the free shipping.

On Monday I called the minute they opened and was told there was no way their system would allow me to alter or cancel an existing order at any time even when the customer service was open...period. For good customer service relations I'm surprised that they would not issue a shipping credit especially since Lenox.com advertised that Monday was a totally FREE SHIPPING without a minimum order. I will think twice before I ever place another order with Lenox.com because of this treatment just because their system won't allow them to make a change to an existing order that has not been processed or sent out.

Beware! Bad customer Service! Refunds a pain to get from them

"I bought some chinaware from them. Some of it came broken so decided to return all in the set. I got partial refund after a month! on my repeated attempts at contacting customer service I was met with rude answers and no resolution or answer as to why no full refund. Finally had to ask my credit card company to refute the charges. To date no answer or response from Lenox! in my lifetime - Never will buy another or any LENOX product again."

"I placed an order for an ornament set in September. It is now December and still no delivery of order. I received a letter from the company in October and November both which stated the ornaments were on back order and would be delivered in the next 30 days. I had the option which stated in the letter to cancel the order for a PROMPT refund. In November I was tired of waiting so I cancelled the order. I then called customer service because I was not receiving any response from email that I was not able to cancel my order even tho the letter I received said otherwise. They have now taken my money and continue to ignore my emails and calls for a refund or the product. This is a 2015 brand new ornament set and the year is almost gone. My tree is up and no longer have use for the ornaments. Still fighting for my money return and still no product in stock. Beware of this company. They take your money and don't deliver or communicate. Customer service lies and every operator has a different excuse. No one higher up to contact. Next step is my lawyer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LENOX

"I had ordered a few personalized ornaments. My card was charged that same day. I receive an email a week later, saying items weren't in stock and that I could cancel order or wait 30 days, in which thy would automatically cancel if items still were not in stock. I cancelled my order the same day I received that email, and proceeded to order ornaments from another company. I did not want to take a chance that they would not come back into stock. A WEEK after cancelling my order, I get another email saying that my order is being processed, and I can't cancel. Also, they tell me that the first email should not have been sent out. I told them again to cancel, that I went somewhere else for product, and that these ornaments were of no use to me. I come home to a voice mail saying that order was already processed and that I would have them by Thanksgiving (another 2 weeks from now). I called, could not get the person who sent me email, or voice mail. Talked to someone who was rude, could care less about anything, and again told me order was in process. I was told that being it was a personalized item, that there would be no refund. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! They charge your card, not knowing if they have items or not.....CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! I am very surprised at how a company like Lenox handled this situation...........HORRIBLE!!!!!! Again....go to something like Personalization Mall, or Personal Creations....they have great stuff, great prices, and a wonderful customer service dept. I have no idea why I didn't stick with them in the first place."

"Verified purchase.

Purchased a necklace for my wife for our second anniversary and ordered gift wrapping as well. Packaging was terrible. Not gift wrapped and the necklace itself wasn't even in the gift box; it was thrown in a crappy plastic bag. really, really poor packaging and it kind of ruined the gift itself.

I sent an email to their customer service telling them about this issue and all they sent back was a curt and insincere one line apology and then an offer to sign up for their EasyPay credit... seriously?

Won't be ordering from them again, that's for sure.

Also, they do not provide tracking info so you 'll not know when it coming until its there.
