"Very unhappy with this company, they dont return emails and they sent me a power cord that did not work, no power to it at all. and i ordered a battery as well for my computer and they sent me the wrong color and the battery does not hold a charge longer then a hour not running anything on it. That means it has bad cells.And they refuses to return my email or give me a RMA. so i can return these un wanted products. Their customer service do not communicate. I am very un pleased with this company and would not recomment them to anyone."

"What fast service. I ordered 2 toner cartridges for my Canon Laser printer yesterday and they arrived in today's mail. I ordered 2 because of the low price. I am very impressed. "Impossible to get in concact with their customer service, the package I ordered 2 weeks ago still has not arrived. When e-mailing me the tracking number, they sent me the wrong one so I have no idea where my item is. TERRIBLE company, don't waste your time or money on these fools."

"i ordered a power cord for my Thinkpad T61 on 10-19-2010 and to this day have not received the proper cord.
They shipped the wrong cord and I HAVE HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ON LINE.
I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND NOR USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN FOR ANYTHING.

And this statement will probably make them delete my order.

All I ASK FOR WAS A $30 POWER CORD AND THEY COULD NOT GET IT RIGHT.

BE VERY CARE SPENDING MONEY ON THIS SITE.

"I ordered my toner on 11/4 and paid an additional $135.30 for next day delivery and didn't receive my product. Was unable to contact LaptopTraveller.com by phone or electronically. Then, on 11/7 at 9:11 PM, I received an email stating, "Great News! Your order has been processed and shipped," which means I won't get my order until 11/9. Now I'm waiting to see if I get my next day delivery charges refunded. If not, I'll defintely be back to let everyone know."

"Needed a reasonably priced toner cartridge for my Lexmark X502n printer. Interestingly enough, I found that LaptopTraveler offered the refurb/OEM cartridges at a reasonable cost. And oddly enough, the OEM Factory prices were actually more expensive vs. what Lexmark was offering on their web site. Be that as it may.. I decided to go with the refurbs.. and I order a full set. Order was processed promptly and I was notified as such. However one issue I had was with the tracking feature of the web site. The order status was never updated to correctly reflect the order status. I had requested 3-day shipping, and the product ultimately did get to me in 3-day's. Only issue i had was not having an order status or progression and shipping until the tracking number was sent to my email. Outside of that, no complaints so far of the refrub toner, and its been working without any issues. I would not rate this vendor poorly due to the shipping status issue. Overall.. My opinion is based on prices, quality of product, and delivered as promised. "

"Overall recommendation: Use another vendor if possible.
My problems were eventually resolved, after much work, raising my rating to "average".

Net-net ... the generic batteries often don't last a year, so you are better off buying a better grade of battery elsewhere, and avoid the customer service issues. Customer services is trying to be helpful, but their implementation is lacking.

If you must return a battery (and the generics are likely to fail within the 1 year warranty) ...only use a trackable shipping method. LaptopTraveller's "free" return shipping is NOT trackable! ... and if Laptoptraveller improperly handles the receiving, you are liable.
If you have customer service difficulties .... you must persist (and waste time) with customer service. In my case, after 3 online chat exchanges and several weeks, I was properly credited. The only method of communication is on-line chat. Use on-line chat to request that they call you by phone. Tell them that you are posting to resellerratings.com ... it helped in my case.

Here is the story:
I originally ordered a generic replacement battery for an HP laptop in Nov 2009. Order was promptly processed and shipped. So far, so good.

Battery dies in 11 months. HP battery diagnostic shows that battery has "failed". Generic replacement battery came with 12 month warranty, so I contacted laptoptraveller.com. No phone numbers to call, but live chat is quick. Discussed issue with customer service (Sophia), and no replacement could be sent without first sending the bad battery to laptoptraveller ... but the laptop will not work at all without a battery installed. Sophia suggested that I order a new battery, and note that this is for RMA Return XXX. When I got the replacement battery just send the bad one back, and a refund would be made. Sounds nice ... and it almost worked.
I ordered replacement battery and it was promptly shipped. I returned the bad battery in the same packaging, properly noting the RMA number on the package and the battery itself. My credit card had not been charged. Everything looked good.
Then I received a second battery...with no paperwork. I contacted laptoptraveller again (via live chat) and was told to return the second battery, "return to sender", with a second RMA number. I made another trip to the post office, and mailed the second battery, and the postage was denied. Made a third trip to the post office, and paid for the return postage.
Two weeks later, I get an email that the "duplicate" battery was not received, and my credit card later charged. The same shipping system that sent a duplicate battery can't find second returned battery. Still trying to work it out, but I'm denying the charge via my credit card in the mean time.

I did eventually get a proper credit, and the issue was resolved after ~ 10 hours of my time.

"Very disappointed! My order for a replacement laptop battery arrived(without the battery) in a USPS priority mail envelope, torn open, without contents. It had "Received without Contents" stamped on it in red by the postal service. Waiting on a resolution as my credit card has already been charged!

Will update this review when i do get a resolution. But it's something to be aware about, if it can happen to me, it could happen to you.

"I bought 2 LCD screen protectors and 1 battery for my Vaio. The Shipping was fast that I got my purchase on Jul 9th. The battery is just like the previous replacement battery that I paid $20 more, and I have used it for 2 days without any problems. As for the Lcd screen protectors, they are definitely great! they are harder than my original one and I just paid $15.99 for the 2 pieces. I will buy more and make the size to fit my iPad and cell phone! Thank you!"
