"This was my third attempt to procure a part I needed. The part was not available locally so all attempts were made online. Additionally, the part was only available as a FOMOCO OEM part. The first attempt resulted in an order cancellation from the part supplier two days after the order was placed. The supplier apparently did not have the part in stock and could not get the part. The second attempt once again resulted in the order being accepted by the supplier. However, after not receiving an order confirmation from the supplier, I called the company. I was informed the part was on backorder with an indefinite shipping date. That was not acceptable and the order was cancelled. I then turned to Lakeland Ford Online Parts. This time I called first to verify part availability. I was told the part was not in stock but that 13 were available to order. I was also given the particulars on when I would receive the part once I had placed the order online. I placed the order and the transaction was completed without any surprises.
