Lacrosse Monkey and Ashley in customer service have Horrible customer service!

"I have ordered a lot of lacrosse gear from this company and referred a lot of friends to this company for 5 years.
I will not order again from them.
My daughter broke a head on Sunday, called on Monday morning to verify when I would receive the head, gave them my zip code and they said I would receive it Friday, I tried to place order with him but they do not have a terminal to do that, I ordered the head in the next 15 minutes online, got a email on Tuesday night saying my order was shipped and I would receive it on the following Monday, Immediately tried to call them and they were closed, called Wednesday morning talked to Ashley, she proceeded to tell me that I was not told that and orders take 24-48 hours to be processed and then 4 more days to ship from Texas, I asked for a manager because of her snarky attitude and was told she would put in a request. I asked how that worked and she told me it takes 24-48 hours to get a call back. So Thursday or Friday I will get a call about a order that is to be here Friday and not going to make it. I will have to purchase another head here locally. I asked Ashley to cancel the order to cancelled the order and she said since it was shipped they could not do that. They made a bad situation worse by rude customer service, followed by a call back from a manager in 24-48 hours! Don't waste your time or money with this company.

Stick to more mainstream online retailers for common sense return/exhange policies

"Terrible. Anytime I order from a small online retailer, I am filled with regret. Do not order from this site EVER. Won't give a refund, even when exchange isn't available. Just store credit. Stick with major online retailers to protect yourself. Returns are manual. No prepaid shipping label available. Credit information is emailed to you whenever they feel like it. I may have saved a couple bucks, but it certainly wasn't worth my time or trouble. They are not in line with this decade's online shopping standards. Read the fine print is their response."

Do not order from them ever-

"I called before I placed the order for my sons cleats that he needed for a Tournament that was coming up quickly. His cleats had fallen apart after cleaning them. I was told they would be sent as soon as they were processed so I placed the order. I called the next day and was told they were in processing on Thursday and would be sent the next day Friday. I had a bad feeling and sent an email on Sunday night to verify that they were sent out. I got an email that they were just placed on the Truck this morning and would be picked up by UPS tonight by 6:00. They will not get here on time as we leave Wed for up North. I asked them to cancel the order take them off of the Truck. The girl Ashley said no they were behind to many other packages we were going to have to take them and then return them.. Really??????????? "

"The website double charged me and held pending charges within my credit card. The lacrosse monkey rep said it would be removed within 24 hours--NEVER HAPPENED. Then I called the lacrosse monkey rep WITH THE CREDIT CARD rep and the lacrosse monkey rep said there is no history of those transactions and they did even know their merchant ID number or which company conducted their online activity. Over 8 days later, still no resolution. Charges are in PENDING LIMBO. I'm going back to Amazon."

"ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! Ordered a shaft for my daughter a week in advance of her tournament. The shaft never shipped, no one could tell me why and they would not overnight it when I followed up, two days prior to the tournament.

Lesson Learned: Stick with LAX.COM or your local shop, LaCrosse Monkey Sucks!!!

"Terrible customer service! They basically have a no return policy. Clearance items are only returnable for store credit and when I called to get the return number for my box, I was asked if my son had tried on the gloves - - of course he did, and then she asked if he had handled his stick - - of course he did. She then said that if he handled the stick he would have gotten them dirty and they would refuse the return. I may have missed the store credit notice on the website (I don't remember seeing it) but there was nothing that said you shouldn't try the on or handle your stick with them. The question was asked to trap you into saying yes so that they can refuse your return. My son did not play with the gloves. He tried them on to see how they were and decided he didn't like the fit. I will take my $100 lesson, but I won't order again."

"We ordered a pair of gloves and the fingers were too short. I called for an RA# and was told I could only get store credit because they were on clearance. Fine, I sent them back. A week and a half later I get a call that they would not accept them as they were scuffed. Total BS...I watched my son take them out, try them on holding his stick and them put them back in the bag. Will never shop here again."

"Horrible. Rude customer service. Not helpful. Will never order again from here and neither should you. Ordered a lacross stick and within a day, the grip came off. Called once and we were told we could exchange. After we took a couple days to decide what the exchange should be, we called again and the girl on the phone gave us a different story. She said we had to take up the issue with the manufacturer. Who runs a business like that?"
