"The school is great and I love everything about it but if I had too change one thing about it I would have to say the communication level between the teachers and parents only because since my child is new too the school I don’t know how they do things just yet so a little more communication would be nice so I can know about certain things or activities or events going on at the school so my child can be apart of them and not be left out. But other than that it’s a wonderful school and I’m glad that I chose this school for my child and he loves it."

"I don’t get consistent updates on my child throughout the day. If she has an accident and poops on herself, they don’t clean her, they only change her pants so she sits in **** for hours. That’s neglect in my opinion. I like the assistant director but she is hardly there when I pick up my child and is super busy if she is. I don’t feel that this location is a great example of what I had known at the prior school."

"The Virginia Beach academy was so much better and had higher standards and more teachers invested in the children. This one feels like the teachers don't want to be there and could care less if the child is in class or how they do. They do not seem to be invested in the children or care for their wellbeing."

"I really liked the tour. However, it would have been better if parents who were leaving or arriving did not distract from the tour. The director was in an awkward position to not give myself and my child full attention by saying goodbye or hello to every parent/child that walked by. It also made the tour longer than it needed to be. I realize my tour was during prime pick-up hours, but having a designated person just to give tours would be really helpful for this location in the future."
"The tour was fine. No issues to report. I wish there was Spanish offered at the school. I wish there was a more affordable rate for the 3-day program. I wish my son could have enrolled earlier instead of there being a two-week wait. Good overall."
"The teacher was knowledgeable. She showed us how she documents feedback for parents. The tour guide, Daisy, was helpful. She was very busy with a parent who was enrolling her child for his first day. She needed the attention she received. All of our questions were answered."
"My 3 children have attended La Petite and I absolutely love it there. My two daughters have been there since they were 2 and 3 and will now be in Kindergarten and 1st grade and my 2.5 yr old son has been there since he was two months old. Mrs. Ebony and Mrs. Nicole have always treated my children as if they were their own. I like that they have a variety of both young and experienced teachers because they all complement each other well. My son runs to his teachers in the morning! They always give him extra cuddles in the morning if he needs it and I feel completely comfortable leaving to work for the day because I know they are in good hands. All the teachers are awesome and engaged and we have an app that sends us regular updates on feeding, bathroom, and various activities throughout the day. The directors are also quick to respond with any concerns or questions I have. The curriculum is engaging and the children are all typically happy at the varying times of day I have come. I had a choice of three other day cares in the area in 2014 when I enrolled them at La Petite. Hands down, I would chose La Petite on Jonestown Rd. again. The facility is always clean and they serve good meals and my overall experience has been wonderful. Thanks, La Petite! Thank you, Mrs. Ebony, Mrs. Nicole, Mrs. Whitney, Mrs. Lylah, and all the other amazing teachers that have had my children and have made such an impact on my children!! "
