"I think there is one or two staff members who appear to be really enjoying and enthusiastic with being with the kids. Others look unhappy and as if they do not want to be there. I am unsure at times who is in charge and sometimes feel like I dont know what is going on with what my child is doing at school."

"La Petite on Culver Road in VA Beach has the most caring group of individuals I have ever met employed there. My son started at 18 months and has grown so much in the almost 2 years he's been there. We went to another daycare briefly (for about 2 months) and I took him out because I didn't feel he was cared for. I came here and have never for a second worried about his safety. I feel like the staff here actually and truly LOVE my child. I work a lot, and having them care for my child gives me peace of mind to know he's okay so I can take care of what I need to to provide for my family financially. I adore the staff and love to take any chance I get to gush about them."

"It’s been good so far, only a few concerns that bother me is the staff asks kids to give them hugs. I don’t agree with that. My kids will give hugs when they want to, not to be told they should. Also cleanliness. The floor in the corners and along the walls need to be scrubbed.(I would gladly come in and clean too!) The bathroom area, when I come in sometimes has tissue or paper towels on the floor. I’m also concerned about if the kids are being monitored to wash their hands. My 4 yr old always tell me other kids don’t. I always ask to smell my kids hands for soap to see if they actually did wash their hands. LolThe outside area, can y’all put down like wood chip mulch in muddy areas? Oh if possible could you implement kids brushing their teeth after meals? We as parents can provide toothpaste and brushes. Thank you!"

"I had an awful experience and safety concerns when my son went to child time at a year old. Because of safety, I took him out immediately and was pleased to find the LA Petite center. I cannot express how happy my heart is bringing him here. They truly love my child, and he loves them. I know they would never do anything to jeopardize his well being. My husband and I work long hours, and he is at the center for a long time. It helps knowing he is with people who don’t just see him as a paycheck. Michelle, misty, Tierra, kim, Connie, Kelly, Brianna, javon... I know I’m missing people here! Everyone - outstanding. I truly thank good for this crew!"
