"This school has been wonderful to both of our children. We toured many facilities prior to enrolling our first child and this school assured us the most that our child would be in loving, caring hands. Our son has been at the school since he was 3 months old and he continues to thrive both socially and educationally. The teachers at this school are wonderful at exposing our oldest to new activities. Our daughter is now enrolled in the infant room and the care is as great or better than it was with our son. We would recommend this school to anyone looking for quality child care!"

"The center recently announced closure for teacher education on veteran's day. My child has school that day and his transportation is the daycare bus. This creates confusion with the school. I wish the education day had happened in the summer to avoid issues for school age kids."

"I know my child is safe. My child is not getting the attention and/or love my child needs at such young age from teachers but she’s safe. It’s a very “hands-off” setting. Don’t expect much of a 1:1 attention, don’t expect much guidance unless you ask directly, don’t expect a happy greeting in the mornings/afternoons as you take your child to school, don’t expect much personalization on their school “app”... but the photos/videos are great when you them them :) The cleanliness is not the worst but it smells like dirty diapers. That’s got to be taken care of! Yuck. And lastly don’t expect your child’s photo to be in your log-in screen when dropping off and Check out. This tells you how disconnected they are from you and the child. Am I disappointed? Definitely yes. The way it was “sold” to us it was very different. I’m hoping that it will improve/change with this type of surveys and that’s it was not for nothing. Thanks"

"Really like a few of the staff but issues are outweighing the positives. Negativity has affected my child’s self esteem and his confidence to go out and meet other children because instead of just screaming or punishing kids they should be teaching them social skills and problem solving"

"We have been thrilled with la petite. The teachers are absolutely incredible and LOVE all of the kids in the class. It’s so reassuring to know that my toddler is getting the loving attention, patience (!), and focus that she needs every day. Her teachers always have stories to tell me about cute things she said/did during the day, and my daughter talks about them often when we are at home and how nice they are. She’s learning new things every day and enjoys telling us about it after school. She gets very excited for all of the fun crafts, stories, and extra activities that they have during the day.The director, Shelly, is the nicest woman and always says hello and makes time to talk, especially if I have any concerns to ask about. She has never minimized any concern I’ve brought up, and has great follow-up even weeks later to check in. Overall, La Petit Powell is the perfect blend for us of nurturing teachers and advanced curriculum! We are very happy here."
