"Generally speaking, I love La Petite. As a parent of a child in VPK, I want to know that the curriculum is being followed and taken seriously! That this is an actual school setting and not just “daycare”. My son complains about some of the kids behaviour issues and while I realise that it is common in any classroom, I’m concerned these students are too comfortable with their teachers and staff and may not take the learning part as seriously as it’s needed. All I can hope for is that the education part is being taken seriously and the kids in the class are all of equal level to grow and challenge one another instead of holding other children back and causing distractions just because they’re all 5 year olds. However, his teacher is wonderful and supportive thus far!"

"Poor school. I don’t know who the teacher is, other than a name. I’ve requested a parent teacher conference three times now and am refused citing they do those only in November. My child is behind and is struggling (not a fault of the teachers). But she is continuing to fall behind because the school won’t work at her current level. She will be another 2 months behind because I can’t speak to the teacher to get her on a corrective plan. Very frustrating."
