"We feel very welcomed every day! Ms. Amy or Ms Ashley are always front and center to welcome us. The staff all seem to know our little D! Ms Hale is amazing with toddlers and has so much patience! Every day she give me a report on how she was and the Brightwheel app is the best way to stay connected while I’m at work. Dylan often cries when I drop her off but when she sees Ms. Teresa she
forgets all about mommy! I really am thankful we have found such wonderful teachers. I only wish that the numbers ratios in the toddler classes were a bit lower for the teachers. 22 toddlers max is a lot to handle for two educators! "
"To be honest, when we first started taking our daughter to La Petite we did not feel very welcomed. I had a feeling there were issues with staff not feeling appreciated or heard....it was a transitition period and i know there are growing pains with that. I do believe now that there is a new director(Marcie)/assistant director (Amy) we are feeling more satisified with the enviroment...less hostel, and the staff seems to really feel valued now. I am happy that each day my daugher Dylan is welomed with loving and caring arms....I know when we leave her there (especially with Ms. Teresa and Ms. Halee) I can tell they generally love and care for Dylan with their full heart and minds. I hope that this positive feel and change sticks. Also LOVE the app and being able to see Dylan and her activities throughout the day....the whole family can see how her day goes and the pictures that Ms. Halee captures are just wonderful!Thank you Ms. Halee and Ms. Teresa and La Petite Staff!! Keep up the great work!"
"Overall good experience. Staff is friendly. Facility feels a bit chaotic, likely a product of the high teacher/child ratios allowed in FL. Also leads to less one on one time and individual attention for the kids. Struggle to understand what the curriculum is or what is being taught to help reinforce at home."
"My child lucked out with excellent and caring teachers in both classrooms he was assigned to in the 1.5yrs he was here. However, I feel like the teachers are overwhelmed with a student ratio on the higher side, and room assignments fluctuate often with staffing turnover. I would’ve liked to have seen more academic growth in my son than I have, to prepare him for VPK, but I assume it’s difficult with so many kids in the room. Also, the building is very loud at all times, which must be distracting and tiring for the kiddos trying to learn and the teachers trying to teach. My son will be going elsewhere for VPK."

"Communication from the teachers and administration is terrible. We are not informed about events going on until the day of. If I talk to 2 different people in the office, I get 2 different answers on what is allowed. And that is only if I am lucky enough to fine someone, because there is almost never anyone at the desk anymore. They prefer to be locked away in the office. The teachers don’t tell us anything about what goes on during the day, and don’t respond to questions sent through the app."

"Since this school has changed directors, due to the fact that the last left of her own choice, I feel the level of care, communication and teachers has gone way down. The staff that has stayed since the last director maintains the level of care and communication there was previously, but new staff does have that level. I feel more comfortable with the current assistant director than the current acting director, as I rarely see her in the front office. I originally left this daycare years back due to her management. If I had another alternative I would leave again."
"The school has been extremely accommodating, friendly, and an overall great experience. This is my second child and I have had my fair share of experiences with different daycares - La Petite is clean, well organized, and their outdoor area for the kids is great. I am very pleased. I plan t keep my child enrolled through VPK and until he begins kindergarten!"
"Okay tour, friendly director. We had our daughter with us and she was a bit cranky so it was a bit rushed. I understand that but wish it would have felt more warm and welcoming. Seems like wewere just another tour. The staff was all cleaning up but did take the time to say hello."
