"When we started over a year ago teachers had been there for years, they were consistent, friendly and made sure to talk to parents. Now, I never know who is in my child’s room, I don’t get report about how my child did each day because whoever is covering the room hasn’t been there but maybe an hour and is clueless. The director doesn’t care when concerns are brought up and makes no effort to fix ANYTHING."

"We love this school and have had a wonderful experience through the years. It is clean, well kept, and safe. The teachers and director are caring and friendly. There seems to be very little turn over which is huge. It has been a great environment for our children."

"Love the curriculum and the teachers who have been there a while are kind and hands on. However, they have a high turn over in staff possibly because of the low pay, especially compared to what a parent pays each week to have their kid there. The director is not very involved and does not seem to handle confrontation or complaints well at all. Poor follow up when a complaint is made. Love that my child learns so much here but also cannot stand the astronomical price tag. Anywhere from $50-100 a week higher than any other daycare in the metro."

"This is my second child to attend and I have had very good experiences. The non-school age rooms are great and I would recommend them to other parents. The infant and toddler teachers are wonderful and have always been loving towards my children. The school age room however was not conducive to the needs of my oldest child. The room is small for that number of children, activities are limited possibly do to the small size of the classroom and all of those age groups together seems chaotic. Over the years I have grown to appreciate and respect Ms. Vicki and her professionalism. We have been able to have great conversations and hard ones all resulting in what’s best for the children. I only have two children of my own to care for and that is challenging where the ladies at LPA have many many more to care for and they are of no blood relation to them. The work they do is commendable and worth every penny I pay."

"love the Lees Summit La Petite! The director is incredible and so engaging. sweet smile, conversation and complements to the parents about their children. discipline and stucture, nurturing and caring is how it is ran. I had a suggestion about electroics and removing them from the kids day (i.e. no phones brought, etc.) in the school age setting. they immediately agreed and implemented a no electronics summer. it's been incredible in getting the kids to interact and engage w/out the distraction of devices. they will be visiting the after school program no chromebooks policy to see if it's important or if it'll interrupt children getting homework done. all too often, children were playing games on them when they could be dong other engaging activities. I am confident in the directors decision to implement this either way. So grateful for Vicki Dahlinghause and her team!"

"This school has been wonderful for our daughter! The teachers are very loving and have always treated our daughter well. The Brightwheel app is amazing, we love knowing how she is doing throughout the day, being able to communicate with her teachers in real-time, and receiving precious photos. Our only complaint is the price as it is quite a bit higher than other facilities."

I’ve never looked anywhere else to take him because they feel like family. Some teachers come and go, and come back again but having Vicki as the anchor for this school is amazing. She holds people to high expectations, both teachers and parents!"

"Love nearly everything about the school. Our one concern is that our child is in the infant room and a couple of older children are mixed into the room at the end of the days (as I assume they are sending staff home). Our concern is that this expenses the infant to additional illness to which they may not otherwise be exposed and the infants receive less attention as the older children are more actively running around requiring more attention."
