"My daughter has been with La Petite Academy since she was 3 years old. From the very beginning, we have had a great experience. The few bumps we have had were always handled professionally and I get along well with all of the staff. I am happy to see a lot of the same staff around from when we started, as well as a new favorite teacher, Mrs. Kathy Rucker. We love her! She is amazing with my daughter and I honestly feel like she's family and I don't have to worry about my daughter. I was going to use the in school provider when Kindergarten started, but I now intend to return to La Petite for after school care and drop in care, as needed. My daughter can stay in a safe, fun environment where most of her friends are also going to be for after school care."

"I felt the director did not want to do a tour and then felt obliged when I showed up. She was fine until I told her that my grandchildren were on CCAP and that I had temporary custody of the children due to a family situation. I would not bring the children there now as I would wonder if they were being treated well or most importantly not being treated differently because of their family situation."

"My child and I have had a wonderful experience with La Petite Academy. She has had the best teachers and assistants in this center, and we have had the opportunity to experience a few other child care settings. I can bring my daughter in the morning and rest assured she is safe, learning, and having fun. I know that if I have a concern, I can bring it to anyone on staff and they will take it seriously and treat me with respect. Our new director, Prudence Arrowood has done a wonderful job of transitioning into the role. There were no snags or hiccups with her transition, which I thought was pretty amazing. I am very impressed with her and my daughter's Junior K teacher, Mrs. Barb. Barb takes educating our children to heart and brings her A game every single day. My daughter loves school, and enthusiastically shares what she is learning with me on a daily basis. I like Barb's approach to discipline as well. She is also very easy to talk to and answers all of my many questions. She understands how important my daughter's education is to me. I can't say enough about the staff here. Everyone is friendly, child oriented, and we are all on a first name basis with each other. They have shared their experiences of child rearing with me, and often assure me that I am on the right track and doing a good job. My daughter will start Kindergarten this summer, and I know she is ready because of her experience at La Petite."
