It is so scary for every mother when you first place your child in daycare, but especially when that child has special needs. Kids especially toddlers need stability & it's really tough on them when they have teachers always changing especially in the morning at drop off. It's great that most of the teachers seem to know the names of all the kids & they say hi & bye to them & it's nice that they give you a little update, but parents want more details. Please be more specific about our child's day. Don't just say they had a good day tell us about it. Tell us that they really liked playing outside or enjoyed the pizza at lunch ect...They are with you more during the day than they are with us so tell us something we may not or need to know."
