"As a first time mom, La Petite made me feel so at ease and comfortable. I knew my 7 week old baby was in good hands. La Petite shows my son daily the love and attention I would give him at home! They are quick to communicate if there is a problem and encourages me to talk to them as needed. One thing I can't get enough of while at La Petite, was the support I got while breastfeeding my son. From day 1 they helped me in anyway they could and made it known that they were there if I needed any advice. La Petite is the ONLY place I will take my son and any future children."
"overall things have been great. Although my child does have asthma that can be triggered my oil burners and warmers, I have mentioned this to the director, and class room teachers, but yet the oil warmer is still being used. The concrete and aspahlt playgrounds have ruined roughly 7 pairs of pants not to mention the number of scraped and bloodied knees and elbows. I with the entire playground had a safe surface for the children."
"I love La Petite! This school has been the best decision we have made for our little girl. Before, we had Terrible daycare experiences. One of them was that our little one wouldn't use potty at sittersome and always came home in diaper even though she was trained everywhere else. La Petite was understanding and from day 1 our little girl never was in a diaper. They worked with her and said they would rather her have an accident than regress. Educationally she is excelling and she absolutely loves to go to school. She is now a social butterfly and we have watched her spread her wings instead of becoming more reserved as she was before. I ALWAYS recommend LA Petite and when price is mentioned in remind people you get what you pay for and La Petite is GOLD. I appreciate and can never thank you enough what this school has done for my family. We will be enrolling our little one in January."
"La Petite Academy offers extreme high quality care and education. I would highly recommend them to anyone that I know. But on the down side the price is kinda high for first time parents who are just trying to make it by."
"The staff helped our child adjust coming from a stay-at-home environment to entering daycare full-time. They were patient and recognized our child's needs and helped him adjust to the new schedule within a few weeks. When we would call to see how our child was doing, anyone who answered the phone could give an update about my child. The personal care and relationships they establish with each child is amazing and I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a stable environment for care. There is a daily curriculum and schedule for each class. Kids are engaged with their teacher and classmates and watching tv is a special (and rare) treat. It was refreshing to see the attention to education and emphasis on social interaction at such an early age."
"Parent teacher communication isn't good. Yesterday, I had a meeting with a teacher. When I got there she wasn't there. The next day when I saw her, I asked her what happened she said she got sent home early so she couldn't help it. Couldn't help it? What happened to letting me know? I think that would've been the appropriate thing to do."
"Well my general experience was about potty training, the activities and also what they eat. I prefer my child to get good food as in healthy choices and not rubbish such as corn dogs."
"We are very happy with the facility and have no major complaints. My child's teacher does not communicate verbally well to the parents - but is great with the kids. I have no doubt she is a wonderful teacher - my child loves her. I have been very impressed when I call to check on my child that everyone - from the center director to another teacher - can tell me what's going on with my child. Very impressive.Also happy that the children aren't plunked in front of TV all day. It's refreshing!"
