"The teacher makes all the difference in the classroom. Some teachers are phenomenal and some are terrible, experience isn’t always better. Always have a backup plan, Incase you get the rotten apple. As an educator myself, I am shocked at how some of the teachers speak to the young children and ignore serious behaviors in their classroom. The inappropriate behaviors I’ve seen during pickup times that were never addressed are of great concern to me. I even mentioned them to front desk staff. In the public school system, if a child was ever hit in my classroom, I would be required to take immediate action and not allowed to ignore it repeatedly. Picking on a child because they take off their shoes to get sand out of them daily is unacceptable when your center doesn’t protect them. My son got bit and the individual teeth marks were visible for an entire week!"

"I arrived to have a tour in which they confirmed but were unaware of when I arrived. They let me in the locked doors before knowing who I was or why I was there so security is non existent. Granted it's a daycare kids and staff were screaming, children crying it seemed like a mad house. The infant room had a small child confined in a high chair just banging his head against the side to where the chair was teetering with no staff even paying attention, little children who couldn't crawl just lying and crying on the floor! A staff member half way thru a diaper change then sees us them decided to put on gloves like we didn't notice. I left feeling sad for the children in the care(lack there of) of this establishment"

"Overall very good. Some teachers are really great, others seem to not put forth the same effort. Their could be better communication About operational needs within the facility (for example rate hikes and why they are being assessed). Would love if when our child is involved in an incident to have that information passed along via app or phone call rather than not know until end of day. Having a clear understanding how much the child is eating. Rather than just most or some, stating all meat, some vegetable, and all grain or something along those lines. Overall we have had a great experience at the school and felt their was a great value in it, though a bit less now with the price hike, but not enough to make us want to leave."

"I love how much this particular school involves the parents in activities, whether it’s muffins with mom, art shows or parents night out. I love getting the opportunity to be apart of it. I love seeing the work my kids do displayed on the wall. And I especially appreciate the time and effort each teacher takes with my children"

"The teachers in the infant room are absolutely amazing! I am a first time mother, and my anxiety was extremely high taking him to daycare. I worried if he would be loved and taken care of or just another little person to look after. I quickly realized how much his teachers LOVED him like their own! Owen would light up every morning when he saw his teachers. We are SO sad to be leaving La Petite Academy due to work schedule changing and needing a location more convenient to that change. If I ever get the opportunity I will certainly bring him back! Can’t ask for better love and care when you can’t be with your child."
