"We love LaPetite. The main reason is the people. From the director to the teachers to the cleaning professionals and kitchen staff, everyone seems engaged and enthusiastic about caring for children. And they know my child as an individual. We have had great teachers throughout our time here. Our child has grown socially and intellectually. I would recommend the school to anyone."

"Some teachers love our child like their own. Ms Leslie and Ms Jenn go above and beyond. Your parking lot is understandably a busy place. Please repaint the parking lines. The lack of clear parking spaces makes it even more chaotic. The classrooms are always impressively clean and tidy despite busy kids. However, I wish that there was more pride in the outside of the building. There were dead flowers outside last fall for 3 months. A little thing, yes, but it makes an impression. Your kitchen staff provides well rounded meals. However I would appreciate more fresh fruit. Almost everything is canned. It’s not hard to serve slice a banana or put blue berries on a plate"

"Staffing is an issue. There were not enough teachers to keep all classrooms separate, and infants were combined with older children far too often. Having mobile children walking and playing around immobile infants on the floor was not safe. We were told legally they could do this, but to me, legality was not the issue, it was the safety and security of my child. The environment here changed a lot in the few months our child attended. Clearly there are internal issues between staff and administration. We will not be recommending this daycare."

"The teachers have been very warm and friendly. It's nice to get a personality report at the end of the day in addition to the standard what happened. They do understand my child's personality and have worked to make him more comfortable. Even the food preparer is familiar with my child. It's comforting that my child is under their care."

This is my first child and several times I have depended on the advice from the staff when I had questions or concerns. They really know my son and I feel very comfortable when he is there."

"My only experience has been with the school - age summer program. I really like the director and the teachers are all very nice but there may not be a small enough teacher:student ratio because supervision sometimes seems to be lacking. My son does not like going there - he gets picked on (both verbally and physically) by the older boys in his group daily and I'm thinking about taking him out of the program. There were a lot of great field trips planned for this summer and I thought it would be fun for him but he's not having any fun."

"I've been very happy with La Petite! The facility is the cleanest I've seen, the staff is very nice and personable. One thing that impresses me a lot is that Heidi, the director, knows every child by name and says hi to all of them when she sees them. My son's teachers keep me updated on all day via their app. He is in the infant room, they do crafts and structured play time, as well as free play. My son is only 3 months old, but I've seen improvements in his sociability and motor skills. They do a great job!"
