"We have been at this center for 6 years. The teachers are amazing. They love the kids like they are their own. They take so much pride in caring for the children and the children really grow attached and comfortable with the teachers. It gives the children a safe place to grow and learn. About 2 years ago, management changed. A new director came in and things have gone downhill ever since. Communication to parents is awful. Teacher turnover is constant and not communicated to parents. Some days you show up and a teacher is just gone. Some great and long term staples at the center have left this year and that is really affecting the environment. The director also picks and chooses what rules to strictly enforce and what not to enforce. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. We have 6 months until my child graduates. If it were longer, we would be looking for a new school."

The peace of mind knowing my baby is going to be in a safe, caring, nurturing, positive, encouraging, and academic environment is priceless and I could not ask for anything more than that. It is wonderful to see my sons development throughout the past 6 months since enrolling both physically, socially and emotionally. He truly loves his teachers and gets to experience really exciting and interesting new things, especially during summer camp!"

"We have had our daughter attend LaPetite Academy since she was 3 months old. She has thrived over the years because of what LaPetite has done for her. There are some outstanding teachers at our school that really help the children shine and cater to individual needs. I wish I could say our experience has been all kittens and rainbows, but it hasn't. Not all teachers are created equal and there have been times we have been concerned or frustrated. Fortunately, the good has outweighed the bad, and we are happy overall. I do wish communication was more consistent and timely, too. Parents need more than a day to bring in a white t-shirt for a special project, or need to know why the teachers are different again, in our child's classroom. Sometimes communication is great - but it hasn't been consistent."

"Both of my daughters have been there since they were twelve weeks old. The oldest is off to kindergarten this year and was so well prepared by the staff and her experience at La Petite. Our 2 year old is off to an even stronger start. The staff is warm and nurturing and I feel confident knowing my daughter is loved and in good hands."

"The first 2-3 years at this school was awesome! The teachers were great, nurturing and friendly. Not sure what happened that caused just about all of the teachers to leave but the teachers which replaced them are not performing at at the caliber that their predecessors were. I'm not sure if the curriculum in the pre-school class is benefiting my child as they are one of the oldest there. At times, the teacher:child ratio is not being adhered to according to the law. I've had to ask another teacher at the desk to help an overwhelmed teacher! There have been teachers that physically discipline the children (I've had to tell a parent that their child was getting physically reprimanded). And at times I hear the teachers yelling at the kids. I'm not as happy as I once was with this school. I haven't pulled my child out because of the friends that are remaining that were there since infancy and it is our last year there."
