"Pros: I got a Sony Bravia LCD TV, it works, and the price was cheap.
Cons:
-Long hold times (15 mins at least).
-I could never login to the website after ordering, said my email address was not in system.
-Never told I had to call and confirm order.
-Never got an email with tracking #.
-They kept saying 'might ship today' on 5 different days.
-They once gave me the wrong tracking #
-I paid $50 extra for 2 day shipping, took 8 business days for an in-stock tv.
-Was told I'd be refunded the $50, never happened.
-On final call for my tracking #, they said it would show up that day (though when I called the prev day they said it hadn't yet shipped)"
"Ordered LCD TV nine days ago, it was supposed to ship within four. Two days ago they said it was to ship by yesterday. It still hasn't. The day after I ordered, they called to try to sell me an extended warranty, wires etc. and said it was on its way out of the warehouse. Very poor customer service. I will be canceling the order shortly."
"Excellent experience overall. I ordered a Sony XBR online on the Thursday before 4th July and upgraded to 2-day delivery (via DHL). Store rep called me on Friday to confirm the purchase (he made a soft sell to add a couple accessories..no problem with turning these down) and information. Received confirming e-mail promptly and I was able to track delivery with DHL tracking number. This allowed me to see that it might be delivered earlier than the promised date (July 5) so I stayed at home just in case..it was delivered on the 3rd. My only negative comment (although a small one considering the overall results) was that only the top and bottom of the original container had reinforcement packaging (it was not double-boxed). There was a slight tear in the box at the side but luckily no further damage. The set works great!

"Placed order on the Jan 13, but had credit card info problem. That was my fault, but it was cleared on Jan 18. I was told that the lcd tv was still available and that it will be shipped in 2-3 days from the warehouse. LCDTVS called Jan 23rd to verified credit card info which we had done already on the 18th. Again was told the tv will be shipped in 2-3 days. Call again on Jan 27th. They said it was back order and it would take another 3 working days to shipped. Enough with the LIES!!! I cancelled my order. Never again!!!"
"I purchased a remote control from this web site as a Christmas present for someone. The remote was shipped from a different company entirely, but arrived on time and was the correct item. I received a call from my credit card company today asking me about fraudulent charges on my card that occurred directly after I ordered this item. They also informed me that several other credit customers had fradulent charges directly after ordering from this web site. Use caution if ordering from this website and if possible use a one time use credit number."
"If you think you might want to return an item check carefully if the particular item is returnable. Although their Return Policy states that A/V items and DVR's are returnable without a restocking fee, there are exceptions. In my case as I had opened the DVR box there is a 25% restocking fee that was not stated during the ordering process. Also there is no price guarantee. My item dropped 25% at other vendors just as I ordered it. They laughed when asked to honor a lower price.
(Added(6/22/05) I found that LCDTV's had in fact passed on this DVR order to a local Denver stocking warehouse. Working with them I was able to get the unit returned without a restocking fee on their part. After over a month of rattling LCDTV's cage I am now promised a full refund from them, including the shipping charge that was made for shipping from NY when in fact the unit was shipped locally. The whole transaction however leaves a bad impression of the company to me."
"Excellent. I got my Viewsonic N1300 LCD at my house the next day after I placed the order, and I had ground shipping (I live in CT and they are in Brooklyn).
I am extremely pleased with this store. I called their customer service to double check that the item was in stock and I was told it was. They were curteous and quick, and their number is right on their front webpage. I placed the order online at 10 AM (one minor point is that they appear not to be able to take orders over the phone, but this was not an issue), and by 6 PM I had a UPS tracking number (unlike other reviews say, I did not get a phone call to verify the order and try to sell me an extended warranty, fine by me) I could not track the shipment until the next day for some reason, but I then saw that I was out for delivery and got to my house at 11:41 AM (less than 26 hours!!!). The box arrived in good shape, apparently sealed from the manufacturer with all contents in the box. Set worked out of the box with no problems."
