"I saw some Opteron 244 (1.8Ghz) chips listed for $303 and couldn’t believe my eyes. I purchased two chips at 1 PM EST, and was dismayed to receive a message from Kingli at 10:30 PM EST that said the chips had all been sold over the weekend and that they were unable to complete the purchase. The email also said that they would be getting in more but the chips would probably be more expensive, they said the order would be canceled automatically. As of two days later they have the same chips listed at $542.
I called them the next day and asked if they would honor the price when they got the next shipment. The gentleman I spoke with was very evasive and kept saying that they’d get more chips in but that he wouldn’t know the price until they got them in (he said 3-4 days). I pressed him a bit about whether they would honor the price since their system had allowed me to complete the purchase and I had a receipt. He still evaded and counter offered to send me some Opteron 240 (1.4Ghz) or Opteron 242 (1.6Ghz) chips. I refused and said I wouldn’t take a slower chip because they could be purchased for less money anyway, I counter-offered to take some Opteron 246 (2.0Ghz) which he ignored.
I told him that I felt the situation was not entirely on the level and that I almost felt like this was a bait and switch maneuver. He again ignored my comment and said that he would talk to the purchasing people and email me in 15 minutes. I asked him to call me instead of emailing, which he refused to do, so I told him that I would be calling the next day if I hadn’t gotten a response. He didn’t email.
I called the next day and spoke with the same gentleman. I explained that I didn’t mind waiting if necessary but I needed to know that I’d still get them at the price that I had already paid. He still would not promise to honor the price I’d purchased the chips for, and said that he expected there to be less than 33% chance that they’ll get more Opteron 244’s in that he would be able to sell me. I again tried to explain to him that I didn’t feel this to be entirely legal, and he apologized and said that it might be better for me to get some from a different company.
Buyer beware with this company, they seem to lure customers in with low prices and then try to sell inferior products (or to squirm out of the sale altogether). I’ll definitely stay away from them myself and warn my friends about this company.

"I ordered a slot 1 motherboard for a Katmai Pentium III. I searched around the web for a reasonably priced board, but found (1) few suppliers and (2) absurdly high prices. However, when I got to Kingli Technology's website, I saw that not only did they have a variety of parts, but they were also reasonable priced. For example, my slot 1 motherboard only cost $36 w/ $8 shipping from Kingli, whereas other sites were asking for upwards of $80. The board arrived promptly and was tested before being shipped -- a REAL plus when you are trying to get some older parts. All in all, a great purchasing experience!"
