Keennesses Knives and Swords

"Junk, Junk, and JUNK! Stay far away from them. All items are seconds at best and if you look closely you will be very unhappy with misaligned handles poorly done grinds swords that are painted on instead of Damascus steel! Shinwa is really Sh@&wa Junk! I was momentarily insane and wasted money on a sword from them it was lightly brushed against a piece of tape on a sharpener guide and the painted on Damascus steel came off! I am sorry I ever wasted my money on this pathetic place Kennesaw JUNK!!!"

Scammers!

"I ordered 1000 rounds of this 9mm, it did not have the 1 box per order when I ordered in the description as it does now. I did the whole order and it came to 320ish. They charged me for one box a week later and sent me one box. After shipping it came to $27.13! For ammo that should be $15 at most during an ammo shortage. I'm guessing they over sold the ammo and changed my order to one. Do not order from these scammers. "

Christmas Catastrophe

"I've been ordering from Kennesaw for over 4 years. This year I ordered gifts for 5 people from them. I ordered at the beginning of December so there would be no delivery problems. I received conformation that my order shipped and I would receive it by 13 December. When it still had not arrived by the 14th I called them. The tracking still said in transit and no delivery date. I'm am only 125 miles from where it shipped. I spoke with supervisor ALLY who assured me that if it had not arrived by Tuesday the 19, she would overnight me a new order. I told her one of the items was engraved for my son and that I was going on leave on the 20th. I'm stationed at Fort Benning and away from my family. I was assured that would not be a problem since the engraving was done in house. The 19th arrived and nothing. I again spoke with ALLY and she said she was refilling the order and shipping it that day. Wednesday night I received a phone call at 6:30 PM from ALLY telling me that the engraver was backed up and my order wouldn't ship till Thursday and I wouldn't receive it till Friday. I start leave Thursday as I previously told her. I cancelled my order. I would give them less than 1 star if I could. I can't stand companies that don't keep their word. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They also own BUD-K"

"I see a few other reviews here seeming unhappy, but I've never had trouble with Kennesaw or their sister outfits, BudK or CH Kadels. The stuff is mostly foreign and cheap, but the prices reflect that and the shipping is quick. I don't have any issues with them and will likely continue ordering from time to time. "

"Don't waist your money with this place. Way over priced, even with their sale prices. Amazon.com has everything Kennesaw cutlery has except for less cost and far better service.
They have a customer service email address. Don't waist time trying to write them, they will not respond.

"terrible experience with this useless company . Order anywhere but from here . Sent the wrong item at Christmas , refused to cover return shipping costs of 30$ because of their own error , took them 3 months to process a refund . I had to call the company like 5 times to deal with this one order . Terrible terrible . All emails go unanswered from them as well. Don't expect them to do anything unless you call in a few times to make sure it happened "

"I placed an order for some Victorinox knives from Kennesaw Cutlery in July. The online ordering process went smoothly, and my first indication of a problem was in an email which showed that some of the knives had been canceled from the order. This dropped my order value, but didn't affect my shipping charges, which didn't make me particularly happy, but I decided I could live with it. When the shipment arrived, one of the $15 knives had been replaced with a $5 knife, with no acknowledgment or price adjustment. I called the company, the representative apologized and I was told that I could keep the $5 knife and they would refund the $15 plus $3 shipping. After several days of waiting with no credit showing up on my credit card statement, I called again and was told that it hadn't been processed, but that they would credit the unshipped knife back right away. This time, the credit did appear, although I never got a reduction on the shipping charge.
(for the record, I also contacted Citibank (my card issuer) twice about this, and I was less than impressed with their service. The first call they told me to contact the company (Kennesaw Cutlery), which seemed reasonable. When the credit hadn't shown up and I called back, I was basically told I would have to just work it out with the seller myself, without really giving me any guidance)

Bottom line: I guess I'm grudgingly satisfied with the way things worked out, but Kennesaw Cutlery will will be my retailer of last resort, not on my preferred list. Note that on my card statement, my Kennesaw order was not listed under the name "Kennesaw", but rather under BKW*BUDK Worldwide Inc.
