"I ordered a green laser along with several other items on May 17. The order didn't leave Hong Kong until May 31. When I did finally receive the order, the laser was dead on arrival. It took several days of emails, photos and explanations to finally get Kaidomain to agree to replace the laser. I asked for them to cover return shipping for the DEFECTIVE item they shipped me, NO RESPONSE... At some point it's not worth shipping cheap crap around the world. Use Dealextreme.com for your purchases from China instead..."

"This has go be the worst service i have seen from a website i put an order in on feb. 2 and they shipped it out on feb.23 i asked for a refund before they shipped it but did not email me back and still sent it PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE"

"I purchased something that comes totally different from what I ordered.

What makes it more frustrating is that I was being skeptical when I was ordering, because the items is not titled as it is in the pictures. I contacted Kaidomain and seek confirmations, and got myself a reply from Dora, relieved, I made my purchase and after patiently waited for 2 weeks, I received something totally different at the end of the day. The other item I ordered comes in a different and unexpected color than what it is seen in its photo, rendering it useless.

I feel cheated and I will never ever purchase from them again.

EDIT1:
I emailed Kaidomain requesting for replacement, Dora replied claiming the item was never updated and that they sent the correct one. I still have totally different item with the same item code sticker.

EDIT2:
Dora requested photos of my items, and then promised to ship a replacement, I noticed a new order at my billing with 0USD charged. Wow, let's see how this goes.

EDIT3:
Received the replacement at last, it is the item ordered but the color is slightly off, it is dark blue instead of the stated black. Nevertheless, it is nice that they sent me a replacement.

"I made the payment via paypal. However their website still shows payment awaited. Also, they were replying to my emails within 20 mins before making the payment, but as soon as I made the payment and complained they have failed to respond.

Let's see what happens. I will take it up with paypal in a day or two if I don't get any response soon

Edit : Everything's fine now. They sent a replacement of the entire order. I even placed a new order and it was delivered in just under a week. Awesome service.

"PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS RETAILER! I ordered an Ipod video case to be able to workout and listen to my Ipod on 8/13/07. I was going to be out of state at the end of the month for 3 weeks but had enough time to receive the item before we left because kaidomain's shipping policy states that the order should be received within 10 business days. It was postmarked in Hong Kong on 8/23/07 which means they did not mail it until a day or 2 before I should have been receiving it. Because it took longer than stated to receive the item I had to leave but that is not the worst of it.
When I returned from my trip I opened the package only to find out they sent the WRONG item. I was sent earbuds worth about $2.00 instead of the Ipod case I ordered. When I let them know they told me that they would take $2.00 off of my next order. They did not ask for the wrong item or to send the item I ordered. What a bunch of crock. They do not get my initial order right and I should order something I obviously do not need to get some sort of refund. Oh, did I mention they wanted me to send them the earbuds back (which is not a problem) at my expense. I also dealt with Dora. It is Oct. 4, 2007 and I still have not received the item I ordered after sending them back the wrong item. Save yourself a headache. For the record, I usually do not give negative reviews but this experience was just appalling. Not only do they take my money but tell me to order again to get a discount for the mistake they made.

I recently purchased a Kai CREE 5 mode, single AA light for $15 from Kaidomain. The modes feature failed after a few cycles through the modes. I notified Kaidomain and they said that if I placed a new order for $15 or more I wouldn't have to return the defective light, they would just send me a new one with my new order.

So I placed an order for a 2 mode CREE light for $24.89 and 2 18650 batteries for $9.99 and paid with PayPal. I received email confirmation that the replacement for the defective light, the new 2 mode CREE and the 2 batteries would be shipped together. I was told everything was in stock and shipping immediately.

Several days ago, I noticed that in the "my account" area under "order status" that the replacement light did not ship as I was told. Furthermore, the battery order for $9.99 had cancelled. The only thing that had shipped was the 2 mode CREE.

So, I sent an email to "Dora" in the sales department inquiring about this and received no reply. The next day I sent another email. No reply. And so on for 2 more days. Then I sent an email asking about expedited shipping on a completely different flashlight and got an immediate response from Dora! I replied to that response with an inquiry about my problem orders. No reply again.

Not only was I not notified that they weren't shipping the replacement light but I wasn't notified about the cancellation of my battery order and most importantly the $9.99 was not refunded to PayPal.

This is a lousy way to do business. I am going to talk to customer service at Paypal and find out what kind of recourse I have. Meanwhile - Buyer Beware!

"Bought a Cree Led flashlight, charger and other odds and ends and as always, Kai shipped them promptly. I've done business with Kai from as far back as the Fifthunit days and Kai is always attentive to their customers, support is very good, especially since they are on the other side of the planet, yet they still respond to any questions in a timely manner.

I saw they didn't offer a battery and charger combo deal, I emailed them, and a couple hours later a combo deal was listed.

Very satisfied with Kaidomain.com's service

"Great prices for decent quality stuff. I got the mini, flexible tripod stand last month (just one) and when I got it I showed it to a few people and ended up getting a few more for presents (less than $2 each shipped!). It is not the highest quality thing, but for only $2, you can afford to get a couple in case it breaks (but i doubt it will break unless you purposefully try to do so). Shipping for my first order took almost 3 weeks, but the second order was right at 2 weeks like they state. Keep in mind it is coming directly from China.... I am definitely going to be ordering some more stuff from them (especially their cheap Ipod cases)."

"Kaidomain is located in China. The company is little more than a one man operation. Company has gone through numerous name changes in the past year. Kaidomain only accepts PayPal. Kaidomain also sells on Ebay and has a terrible track record with over 400 negatives to date. If you get what you ordered consider yourself lucky. My advice is to stay clear of this merchant and avoid the headaches. "
