Would be nice to have the shipping/handling charge incorporated in a total cost as my medical plan will not reimburse me for that portion. "I just found out recently that I needed new glasses and, to keep down the cost, decided to try purchasing them online--winning a $50 gift code to Just Eyewear made me quite keen on getting my glasses from them. I have awful eyes, and always need to buy lens upgrades because my prescription is so strong, but even with them, Just Eyewear was significantly less expensive than purchasing from my optometrist--$80 without the gift code I had rather than $150-200.
I ordered a style of glasses I hadn't tried before, semi-frameless metal glasses--one of few complaints I have about Just Eyewear is that they don't have any way for you to "try on" the glasses beforehand, so I used Coastal.com's try-on feature since their range is so similar and then purchased from Just Eyewear. My experience with the company was quite pleasant: I needed the glasses delivered within two weeks because I was going on a very extensive trip, and wasn't expecting to have them by then since I didn't alert the company to that, but they provided me with a free upgrade to priority and I got my glasses two days before I left.
My glasses came in a lovely, patent black glasses case, with a coupon for a percent off a future order, a keyring jewelry screwdriver, a cleaning cloth... and one of the nosepieces and screws detached from the glasses in the bottom of the case, presumable having been knocked about during transit (the metal bit there was a bit bent, too). I was able to use the included screwdriver to reattach the nosepiece with relative ease since the screw was there, and bend the metal back into shape there, but that's the only reason I gave Just Eyewear a four instead of a five--no one wants to open up a package and see that. I'll still buy from them again, because everything else was perfect and apart from that one mishap, I am very satisfied with my experience purchasing from Just Eyewear."
