Avoid

"Don’t waste your time with them. Ordered two tyres to be told they were not in stock and they would be arriving a week later. A week later no communication at all. A week after that I received a message with them stating there had been an internal error and I was to pay an extra £40+ vat for the carriage. (Turns out the tyres had gone up by that amount in those two weeks, strangely coincidental) Instead of honouring the order they want to pass that extra onto myself. I won’t be using them again and I would urge you to look elsewhere. To top it all off when I phoned to discuss the increase in price they hung up on me. Maybe James needs some training on customer service. "

Absolutely shocking avoid at all costs

"Absolutely shocking customer service. Invoiced me for items that you don’t even have in stock, haven’t bothered to inform me that you don’t have it, will have to now order it in and there will be a delay. All of this was AFTER I rang up chasing and was told the parts were being sent out this morning and were stopped to be added to another order. Absolutely shocking. Won’t be coming here again and will be advising others to avoid "

DO NOT BUY FROM John Craddock

"I totally understand that this pandemic is crippling small businesses but as a responsible retailer Craddock has to stop taking orders if they are not able to fulfill its end to end obligations. For a start you will never get anyone to answer the phone, their website says Phoneline status: Currently unavailable. Surely one person from home can answer general queries? I have looked at other customer reviews and the pattern seems to be the same i.e.
1. It takes ages to get confirmation that your order has been sent
2. You never receive your item but apparently that's my fault so you don't get a refund. What?
3. Emails to customer Services take ages to get a response and when you do get a reply it's not the answer to your question!!
I have three orders outstanding all of which have an order status of awaiting customs clearance, the first is over a month old. I have just learned that the first order is now being returned to Craddock's and I will not get a refund as apparently I rejected the order? I asked for proof that I rejected it and now customer services have stopped responding.
I have ordered items from LR Parts & Bearmach and always received them within 5 working days. I had a small issue with Bearmach over an item being delivered but at least I could call them and get the issue resolved and emails where promptly answered. This is most definitely the very last order I place with them i can't afford to write off over 300 quid due to their negligence.

Exceptionally POOR

"Exceptionally Poor Service
I have ordered many times from John Craddock and understand that we are in unprecedented times
John Craddock currently owes me about £50 in unfulfilled orders
I have been phoning and emailing for about 6 weeks but have received no reply. The next thing will be to contact visa for a charge back.
I know times are difficult but even if Craddock staff are furloughed surely they can pick up emails at home?
Sorry John Craddock but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired
I have other Landrover friends and they are all avoiding buying from John Craddock due to similar circumstances
I don’t usually do reviews unless things are exceptional
This is exceptionally poor

Day after leaving review received 7 emails of complete gobbledegook Just want plain english
eg Sorry we have issued a refund

Still no response
I have been on hold for 55 minutes
I have emailed several times

Horrible Customer service

"Ordered parts from their online catalog showing items in stock. Over a week with no response and several E-mails. Finally ten days later I get an e-mail stating the part I order has been received but they want to cancel the order due to all the e-mails I have sent. (part already paid for 10 days ago) Very poorly run company Stay away from, many other companies in the UK that treat you well. Like Rimmer Brothers. Still not sure if I will Receive the Parts."

"Similar to another reviewer:

I accidentally ordered two wrong parts and asked for them to replace. I was told in no uncertain terms that they would not offer a replacement or refund.

Distance Selling Regulations stipulate that they must (in no uncertain terms again!). I pointed this out to them and they tried to state that because I had 'entered' the part numbers (I hadn't, I'd merely added the parts to my shopping basket) then they were 'bespoke' parts -- trying to use the bespoke/personalised item caveat in the Distance Selling Regulations as a get out. Unbelievable bull from them.

Not sure where this is going, but I certainly won't be using them again - try to avoid if you can.

"Recently placed an order for a part and they sent the wrong item. Despite their mistake they insist I pay for not only the original part shipping but the shipping to return the part they sent in error. "
